2014 IRB Junior World Championship – New Zealand

Pretty sure Pettowa Parraka is still eligible? Michael Gunn (Easts, QLD) would have to be a leading contender. Sam Greene (Wests,QLD) at fly half is another.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2014

I do remember that day. Toua hat trick (maybe 4) and a half century for the Tigers :P

    IRB Annual Awards 2013

My player of the year nominees 1- Ben Smith (NZ) 2- Jean de Villiers (SA) 3- Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe (Arg) 4- Kieran Read (NZ) 5- George North (Wales) With Ben Smith to get it. Adrian Strauss and Leigh Halfpenny might sneak into that group.

    Gold Coast 7's - 12 & 13 Oct

Ed Jenkins is a beast. Was impressed with Walker, Malouf and McMahon throughout the tournment.

    Reds 2014

Hopefully Stolly is in the Reds College, bloody deserves it. Kimmo is pretty underrated, he is a decent prospect who tends to ge overlooked, even at Easts when Sanday and Parraka were available.

    Reds 2014

Reds latest Instagram post had Aiden Toua, Blake Enever along with "Easts team mates Michael Stollberg and Jack Kimmance". Am I reading too much into that by assuming the later two have been training with the Reds? Unless why would they be at a Reds event (Corporate Tag).

    2013 EOYT

No surprises really. But agree Roff, where the fuck is Pyle and Horne.

    Rebels 2014

Don't know if it's been noted here, but Sean McMahon (GPS & Australian Sevens) is apparently with you lot next season, according to today's Courier Mail up here.

    2013 EOYT

I see Chibba Hanson's named mentioned a fair bit, is he available? He had an injury that kept him out of the Reds last few games plus University's home stretch of games. Would love to see him get a gig though, very highly rated.

    Reds 2014

Bit pessimistic if you think we can't beat the Lions away.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2014

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Premier_Leagues I like the format the football has. Conference winners then a play-off tournment. So the top top 3 teams from QLD, top 4 from Sydney, 1 Melbourne, 1 from ACT, and 1 from Perth at the end of their regular seasons just go into a play off...

    Pumas v Wallabies, Rosario, 5th October 2013

I thought Hooper was pretty average again tonight. Getting Pocock back next season will make a massive difference.

    Pumas v Wallabies, Rosario, 5th October 2013

Poor defence fm both teams in this one. Bosch has been the Argies one man band, he's class. Folau best fullback in the world....in attack at least, that was poor defence.

    Pumas v Wallabies, Rosario, 5th October 2013

I'd argue that Figallo is the best tighthead in the world right now. So massive loss for them, he dished it out to the All Blacks last week.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2014

I know it has its own thread, but because all the posts are about Shute Shield teams I thought it'd be better to discuss here. Taken from a post "Daily Telegraph reports that there will be 4 Sydney, 3 Brisbane, 1 Canberra, 1 Melbourne and 1 Perth team. Will be a mix of established teams and...

    Springboks v Wallabies, Newlands, September 28 2013

Does my head in the prop selections. A monkey with a seeing disorder could even see that Robinson-Moore-Slipper is he best front row. Alexander and Kepu are not test standard (although no one else better). Has anyone thought of giving Greg Holmes or Paddy Ryan a call? Surley worth a shot...

    2013 – ITM CUP - NZ's 3rd Tier Competition

Dont kno of anyone as picked up on it, but young wing/fullback Elliott Hagen has been playing for Bay of Plenty. He was with University in Brisbane and the Rebel Rising squads. Good player from memory, taking his chances in NZ.

    Reds 2014

Shipperly will never be anything but a winger because he has poor vision. If you watch him play he does not seem to read the game well. A 13 needs to be very good in terms of vision and decision making (see AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) & Fainga'a). Shipperely simply does not have that ability, and it is something that...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2013

Played 12 for the whole season (went to 10 a few times Brandon went off early). He actually had a great season I thought. No more of his silly errors and decision making. He is definitely a 12, he runs hard, good defence and has a good passing game. But his best attribute was his kicking...
