    Reds 2014

I think it will start with... 6- Quirk 7- Gill 8- Shatz 18- McDuling 19- Browning 20- Robinson (if we went a 6/2 split) But I think McDuling is suited to 6 or 8 more than Lock, so I'd like to see Browning on for Quirk at around 55mins and then McDuling for Shatz with about 15 to go. Lots of...

    QLD Premier Rugby 2014

My dark horse for this year has to be Souths. I think they are at the point to get into that competitive top 4. It's not so much their talent, but more or less how they execute their game plans. Everytime I watch them they are very physical and direct at the breakdown and contact. It's simple...

Don't get me started on the Souths parking! I always love going to Wests and Uni for some reason. Brothers is a pain of parking and general location. Souths and Sunnybank are very easy to get to from where I live, so I even head down to watch them if the Tigers are at the coast.......but fuck...

I hate the Norths away fixture because I can never find the damn place! Haha

I think Norths showed a lot more promise then the Coast teams. Their position and number of wins really didn't show their competitiveness. They scored a shitload of tries, but their defence was quite poor at times. They will move up to the competitive level Souths and Wests were last season.

Whilst I'm sure he is a good player, is he even in the Reds set up right now?

Turner is only 26? Far out he's been around for ages. Makes that signing even more impressive.

I get RG's link to Easts, but that makes no sense. Brandon is the best Fly Half in the Premier comp. His back up is UJ, another Reds WTS member. As good as Greene is, he wouldn't start ahead of Brando, and if he did I guarantee the Tigers faithful would not be happy with it. GPS, Wests or...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

He has been offered big money from France a few times now, wouldn't surprise me after the WC if he left.

Pretty sure O'Donoghue is our foreign player due to his Ireland A Caps. JJ Taulagi is our foreign development player from what I've heard, as he still is a Samoan citizen.

Agreed, I think this was the key difference between the teams.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

No need to have Douglas on the bench when MMM and Fardy both cover lock, so I'd bring in Hooper instead to have a back up openside. To'omua ahead of Godwin, although i think he will really have a break out year this season.

I actually thought UJ was quite impressive towards the back-end of the season. His Semi-Final performance against GPS was one of the best I've seen by a 12 in the Premier Comp. All-round solid game. I think we forget how young he is, and given, as TD said, there aren't many young inside...

Who? Parraka, Ready and UJ. I can't think of any who aren't already in the squad who are better and are the right age demographic (18-22) for the academy/WTS.

Little bit concerned with our back row and locks for next season. Not much to choose from with Enever likely to be with the Reds more, although seasoned guys like Riley and Walker do the job. That young Fattal might be a look in? Back row looks a bit thin without JB and Bertini. Gunny and this...

Fuckin hell another tight run home for Easts. Uni, GPS, Brothers and Sunnybank.

Tapuai can fill that distributing 12 type player, he's actually quite good in terms of ball skills and putting others in space, also has a hand left foot. Obviously nowhere near as good as To'omua there, but if he can get it together this season he'd be my 12, with Fainga'a at 13. With Quade and...

Cam Dolan just signed with the Northampton Saints....seems we weren't the only ones who were impressed by his recent performances.
