RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

There's a bit of debate about whether the Welsh made the wrong decision in not taking the points on offer in the second half. I actually think it was the right call. To beat the best teams you have to make the most of those chances. They were never ever going to get a better chance to score a...

RWC QF 1 WAL v RSA (Twickenham) 18th Oct 0200 AEDT

Not sure that's fair assessment. outsmarted at times perhaps, but outmuscled? you had about 5 scrums and a number of rolling mauls on our 5 metre line with 8 on 7 and you couldn't get over the line.

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

Regarding selections for next week, you'd be tempted to rotate some of the forward pack but i think you have to treat each game like a world cup final. I'd keep changes to a minimum but i wouldn't be too concerned if Cheika started (for example) his bench front row, because we really lose no...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

?!? ... yeh, nah. The Wallabies were comfortable winners in the end. The Wallabies put a lot of pressure on themselves in the second half with those yellow cards, but they soaked up the pressure and then when thy went back to 15 men, they dominated the final 10 minutes. Not trying to dismiss...

re the pocock incident. looks to be something in it but its really pretty marginal. Wouldn't be surprise if he misses a week, but the evidence isn't convincing.

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

hmm yeh, nah. this game is anything but a dead rubber. Whoever wins is surely favourites to lift the cup. Go Wallabies!

I like it. good consistency. Wales have named a strong starting side but we look to have the advantage on the bench. Let hope the guys from 16 to 23 get plenty of minutes in the second half.

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Just saw this game for the first time with the English commentary. Even at the very end, they were trying to insist that the Wallabies scrum was just 'out-smarting' the English. In the two final dominant scrums, they implied that essentially Slipper should have been penalised but just used some...

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

The problem a lot of team will have with the Wallabies scrum is not so much the starting front row, but more the subs. The front row of Slipper/TPN/Holmes is a beast. It's arguably better than our starting 3 from a purely scrummaging POV. Most teams have a slight drop in quality between their...

Karmichael Hunt charged with cocaine supply.

Not exactly. Falloon was charged prior to Hunt providing his statement. One of the downsides of Hunt taking his plea-bargain is that he was required to provide a statement implicating the other defendants. However I don't believe that statement has any way assisted the PPC in their case against...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Yes also Douglas didn't follow through. You could see on the replay that he starts to pull out of the tackle as soon as he realises the guy wont get the ball

Karmichael Hunt charged with cocaine supply.

Charges against Beau Falloon dismissed today. No case to answer. I still believe Hunt could have similarly beaten the charges.

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

Aren't England looking for a new coach? I've always thought England would look better if they simply played what's in front of them.

RWC: IRE v FRA (POOL D) Mon 12th@2:45am

Haven't watched either of these teams close enough to predict a win. However I have noticed that France appear to have another gear which they access from time to time. I'm hoping for an Ireland win for 2 reasons. Firstly I'd love to see an Ireland v Australia semi final match up (Ireland are...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

Well that's true, but much of the selection criticisms of Lancaster are directed at the selection of Burgess, both in the squad and in the 23. That's essentially the fans saying that his selection cost the team. That wouldn't make feel too great if I was Burgess and that was the general...
