Guys, guys, guys. let's stop with the "Quade must play" arguments. I've always been a big supporter of Quade, and do believe that he is better than Foley at his best, but he's just not going to be selected for this game, nor should he. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm quite sure he's been sin...

RWC: AUS v URU (Villa Park, Birmingham): POOL A; 9pm (AEST) Sunday 27 September

Good hit out. Pretty sloppy performance but the result is what we wanted. Scored lots of tries and didn't let any in. That's probably the main positive. Other than that its hard to take much away from this performance given that the majority of our starting players were rested. I thought...

RWC: AUS v URU (Villa Park, Birmingham): POOL A; 9pm (AEST) Sunday 27 September

Error filled, sloppy first half from the Wallabies, but still pretty dominant. The score line is a fair reflection on the game.

I'm watching this game on GEM rather than Foxsports because I'm finding Gordon Bray's commentary much less painful than the Fox crew. I just cant stand the way they commentate the game. .

    RWC 2015

Its pretty clear that some of the all blacks are past their best. They still might be good enough to win it though. None of the other teams have really set the world on fire yet.

Mumm?! - tell that bloke to just concentrate on the line-out What is the rule with concussion availability? Is Slipper still eligible to play against England?

    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

Lots of criticism of the backs. Let's not forget that they've mostly been sitting around slipping lattes for the last month while the forwards have been training. ;) They'll be better for the run.

    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

I thought it was the smart choice, as it put the game beyond doubt. If Fiji had gone on to win the game, you'd be talking about how the team didn't show any respect for their opponent.

I like to think Cheika is still keeping his cards close to his chest. We didn't see any backline moves or tight forward play last night. I wonder if Cheika instructed the guys to play a straight bat in the second half, so as to not give England any idea as to how they might attack. It strikes me...

    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

The thing that i found really strange, i counted zero pick and drives from the wallabies. They need to be able to keep i tight if they want to create space for our backs. The backs were getting over the advantage line but they were having to go through the opposition as there was very little...

The poor bench management may have had something to do with the fact that we have a game in 3 days time.

We fell asleep in the second half but it is what it is. It was still a comfortable win. Ill take it. I expect wales will lose to england, meaning that even if we lose to England a win against Wales will see us through

These days it virtually impossible to avoid results for more than a few hours. my strike rate is very poor. social media is the biggest offender. I'm just a knee jerk reaction for me to check my social media before I even realise that its going to be full of spoilers.

Yeh I'm definitely getting up for this one. fuck it, it's only a world cup every 4 years. I might even crack open a beer if only feeling really wild. so excited. Might have to skip the Japan game though (unfortunately)

If both teams play to their potential, Australia will win by 20+ If Fiji play to their potential and the Wallabies put in a rusty, lacklustre performance, it'll be close.

    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

Leaving aside the Eden Park clusterfuck, which I'm prepared to mark off as an anomaly, our defence has been near impenetrable whilst both Hooper and Pocock are on the field. Teams are really going to need to use their kicking game to work their way into our half. I think Fiji could come...

Strong team. I suspect Cheika believes this is our best 23. Im still not sure about the 10/12 combination. But both have a steady hand so im happy enough. As already mentioned, defensively this team is really going to be a tough nut to crack. I think its the right choice against Fiji. This...
