    Australia A matches Northern Tour

That's the most likely reason, though it's worth noting the Saitama v Reds game got a broadcast geo-blocked in Japan (they stuffed it up at first and only made it available in Japan) and that's something that they could do here to protect ticket sales. The other part might be how broadcast is...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

Yeah, aside from the month or so and probably 2 tests playing he'll get with the squad on this tour to lay a base with Schmidt's Wallabies, the release period for the Lions tour begins on on the 1st of July, almost three weeks before the first test...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

A little surprised to see Skelton left out, but I did suggest starting would be a bridge too far on the short turn around and if we saw him it'd be on the bench, so I'm not entirely shocked Schmidt has gone a more conservative approach there. I do really like the consistency we've been building...

Great to see we've reached the "Red headgear is the problem" stage of the discourse days before we've even kicked off, instead of trying to blame it on something stupid after the match is lost. Really impressed with the efficiency improvements the forum has been making.

It's probably Kerevi and Donaldson on the bench. That said it might be that in the event of a back 3 injury Donaldson comes in at fullback with Wright moving to a wing before they shift Sua'ali'i out, assuming they don't want to complicate it for him anymore than it already is.

    Australia A matches Northern Tour

I think Schmidt might have wanted to take a look for a little while - if he can cover it well enough than it makes him much more useful as a bench player for the Wallabies. Overall though I'm guessing they want to shuffle the team a fair bit between games and get game time into the whole squad...

Shouldn't you, as a bot, be fully tasked on your real job (spreading misinformation about the US election) right now?

    Aussie Player Exodus

That all makes plenty of sense to me, if the salary and perks are high enough - San Diego is similarly expensive to Sydney with all the cost of relocation added on. What I don't understand is why you wouldn't hang around for a year and see out your contract getting to play against the Lions...

    Aussie Player Exodus

I have in the back of my head that maybe his partner is American so that could be it? Might be he doesn't have the confidence in his body long term anymore and doesn't want to move a young family to Japan, but to have given up a Lions tour year, wallaby top up and a contract that must be...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

To be honest I'm not sure he gets a hell of a lot more time starting vs a bench bomb squad role and I think you want to set him (and the team) up to succeed as much as possible while he's there. This game off the bench to start vs Wales and Scotland (the must win games of the tour) feels like...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Wild that this is what he got an early release for, thought it would've been France or Japan for sure. That can't be anything but a massive pay cut right?

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

Kerevi is almost certain to start here, there are no other 12s in the squad right now and he's had some good time to prep with them. Skelton I'm not so sure about, while I think he'll probably be starting by the end of the tour I have a feeling they might try and ease him in given he's joined...

Hopefully that's just confusion around internal submissions to the comp itself and not a sign the squad naming day is no more, I'd hate it if they dumped it after only one year.

    Super Rugby Pacific 2025

Anyone heard any updates on the super rugby squad naming? It was the 9th of November last year and earlier reports had it as the end of October this year. We should hopefully be seeing them all drop on the same day again either this week or next.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2025

Wests are the team I'm most interested in seeing the changes in - with a lot of departing pro/fringe pros off the back of the Rebels demise and general player movement it's going to be a bit of a rebuilding year for them, particularly if a few more o those fringe pros get snapped up elsewhere.

Seems a bit like near enough is good enough for this ref, could've sworn that was held up

    Queensland Reds 2025

Terrible call to award that try - looked like a clear knock on from Aubrey in scoring. Brings up his hat trick when it goes unnoticed.

    Queensland Reds 2025

He's been really attacking the line which is great to see, it's the main part of his game he needed to work on after this year.
