Wales v Australia, Monday 18 November 3:10am AEDT

Pietsch was a calf cork, not an HIA. Expected to be back but we'll probably know more in a day or two.

Not specifically, but the wallabies instagram account has him as symptom free and going through return to play protocol, so he should be on track to return for the Scotland game

I don't think Gleeson is up to starting yet, he really struggled when trying to go for a full 80 (or anything beyond 60) in super this year and I worry he'll go missing for large stints if he's asked to start and play 60 or so. Could be a chance for Uru to come in, but if they are keen to see...

    Refereeing decisions

Live I thought there was something in it, but the front on replay shows it was fine. Earl doesn't have the narrowest of turning circles but has come around and straightened before any contact is made and is clearly chasing the ball. It wouldn't have been a terrible call if it went the other way...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

I'm not sure it needs to change to fit in Skelton at this stage. Wilson has been jumping quite well this year, better than I think anyone expected. They also look to be experimenting a bit with throwing Valetini up which didn't quite work in this game but it's good to see they're rounding out...

Really liking how the balance of our backrow has developed this year. McReight and Wilson are in everything and making it to breaks early in support. It's really unlocking Valetini's game and letting him chime in with full noise carries and tackles a phase or two later.

What an absolute cracker. The Grand Slam is on baby!

@mods can we force that to be Rhinos new signature?

    Queensland Reds 2025

From all over the place: https://www.theroar.com.au/2024/10/23/crusaders-outside-back-on-trial-seven-aussie-xv-players-included-as-reds-head-for-japan-clash/ Hard to know if they'll come to anything but I wouldn't be surprised if they let him go - he's not really in the best 23 for the Reds as...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

He absolutely could, he was worse than them when he finished up, I can't see how he would've improved in the intervening years.

Hard disagree. Bray was great in his day but was well past it by the time he finished with 10. Bringing him back now would be a terrible idea.

    Queensland Reds 2025

Daugunu, Vunivalu*, Anderson, Ryan, Campbell and Mason Gordon all signed with Heremaia Murray looking likely and Flook covering from centre. Not lacking without Aubrey, though I'd like another fullback option. I wouldn't be surprised to see McLaughlin-Phillips get some game time there going...

I'm usually so careful with it too haha. Cant even blame it on posting before coffee this time either.

    Queensland Reds 2025

Looks like Floyd Aubrey is making the jump to league with Souths Logan Magpies: https://www.instagram.com/p/DCGeplYTRNu/ Pretty unexpected after he just featured in the Japan tour, but given it's not a full NRL contract it probably suggests he wasn't valued to highly at the Reds. Probably also...

    Aussie Player Exodus

A little surprising given he's just been on the Japan tour, but this may speak to where he's valued at the Reds as much as anything else. I know plenty of people like Aubrey and he definitely has potential, but for mine he's really struggled to take the next step, particularly in terms of...

Melbourne Rebels Players - where are they going?

no, it was just a misprint in the smh people got excited about

November Internationals (excluding Wallabies & NZ)

For 9s specifically? No idea. But Nonggorr and Peni Ravai packed down against each other at the world cup last year (both from the bench).

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

He almost certainly will - part of the reason he didn't do early camps this year is he didn't see much point until he had got proper time with the squad, that changes now the team has played under him - they were running camps in the break between the Rugby Championship and this tour for...

    England v Wallabies, Twickenham, Sun 10th Nov 2:10AEDT / 1:10AEST

Yeah, I should've been clear I was talking more chats and technical/tactical sessions then actual training that would require a release, but I think it only makes sense if there are a few of them to benefit from having that os group working together, if it's just Skelton then it's the standard...

    Aussie Player Exodus

Seems like a net positive overall. Gets high level pro experience while he's still not quite ready for super and is still locked in to return. Not entirely without risk, but looks worth the reward. I'd like to see more of this, particularly for young tight 5 players
