    RWC - New Zealand v France - 24th September

Bundle confirmed dropped. Dagg in to make it 26 - 3 in first 10 minutes. I think Susie went to the wrong dressing room. Guess NZRT may be comfortably home

    RWC - New Zealand v France - 24th September

Could be seen as acting and soft but I'm thinking of our yellow card in a Bled Cup a couple of years back for an equally soft bit of foul play - Was it Drew Mitchell's who got 10 minutes?

    RWC - New Zealand v France - 24th September

I think the citing commissioner may have something to say about that. France now 3 points - 19. Has Suzie the Hostess been sent to the NZRT dressing rooms with the Oranges? Oranges Now. France are not out of this game.

    RWC - New Zealand v France - 24th September

I don't think French have really dropped the bundle. The NZRT are strangling them of possession, so there is no surprise that they are behind on the scoreboard. It will be interesting to see how things pan out in the first 10 minutes after oranges. That will probably determine the final...

    Shute Shield 2011

Is it time to create the Shute Shield 2012 thread to discuss Off season player and coach movements, retirements, recruiting, gossip and poaching?

10 minutes each way. Strength of the bench. If still drawn after 20 minutes, joint premiership

RWC 2011 - Pool B - Scotland, Romania, England, Georgia, Argentina

Lots of stats in Georgias Favour Missed Tackles G=20, E = 6. Hard to win missing so many tackles, regardless of the possession, territory, 7+ phases stats being in your favour. Consequently Poms scored 6 tries. History will record this as a big win to England. Cold facts on the scoreboard...

RWC 2011 - Pool B - Scotland, Romania, England, Georgia, Argentina

Georgia = Respect. Kaplan seemed to handle the game (the 1/2 I saw) OK. :fishing Troll bait for the Kaplan haters.

RWC 2011 - Pool B - Scotland, Romania, England, Georgia, Argentina

Fucking show off Ashton with your show pony dive for the try. That sort of display is best left in soccer. The Georgians seem to have run out of puff. When they can retain focus and fitness for the full 80 minutes look out. No lack of passion though.

    Scrum Talk

There is talk (and it makes a bit of sense) that these fancy new synthetic jumpers make it too hard for many props to get and maintain a good bind. Comments from any current or recently retired props? Do we need to see special jumpers for the front rowers so that opponents can get a bind?

How many 1st choice "Students" are on International Duties? This would impact on the "traditional Uni control". The woodies would be happy.

RWC 2011 - Pool B - Scotland, Romania, England, Georgia, Argentina

These Georgians can do it. I vaguely seem to recall Georgia vs Saffers at the SFS in RWC 2003. Everyone except the Saffer tourists and Bondi residents was barracking for the Georgians The score then was lots to a few but the Georgians won plenty of respect for their approach.

    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

As miserable as the loss may be, to bring back Bill, we need to beat a couple of good teams in winner take all knock out games. So what if this happens in the QF and SF. All is not lost ........ (yet)

RWC 2011 - Pool B - Scotland, Romania, England, Georgia, Argentina

Just came to 1/2 time from watching Uni's surgically dissect Marlins in Shute Shield Semi. Not a bad game, although Carter was NOT wearing a headband, guess that may be just be a GF thing. What happens if the unthiinkable happens and the Poms lose? Does that put them on our side of the draw...
