Other than the 20 mins after half time when it lost its way a bit, thought that was another excellent game, with a great ending. Super Rugby keeps delivering in 2025

Packs somewhat equaled each other out. Gleeson dominated the early stages but the Brums bench came on and stepped up. Tahs Back 3 completely outplayed the Brumbies with Jorgo and Reilly scoring freak effort tries.

Shaw is too raw for this level atm but Neville looks done. Teddy Wilson also got it over Lonergan.

Also wonder if taking the 2 early pens will be reviewed. Should the Brums back themselves more even with such a freebie early in the game.

Probably not going to be a popular call, but I reckon that box kick at the end is the right play, especially with a pretty good chase.

The kick was at the 45m line with 1 min 15s to go. No ref in the world will let that play out with just pickandgos without a defense penalty.

Brumbies never got back to where the kick was made, and most of the rest of the game was played from where the kick was caught

Jorgo was outstanding, Reilly played well, took his winger, I was dirty Toole didnt chase that kick. I think Murihead Wright and Toole were also good. Kellaway was ok.

I think Remier Valetini and Hooper were massive as well. I actually dont think anyone had a bad game.

Kick was the right call but the execution on the box kick wasn't. Really should've been playing for touch with good chase, all the upside (and possibly more if it does go out) without half the risk you give a team with a back 3 like the brumbies have.
