Un-Australian playoffs:

23:30 Saturday AEST England v Wales for fifth, Scotland v Fiji for eleventh
02:00 Sunday SA v Argentina for third, Italy v Georgia for ninth
04:30 Sunday NZ v Ireland for seventh

WR (World Rugby) website now has Ireland v NZ at 2:00, Italy v Georgia at 4:30.

I'm 50/50 as to whether or not I want Scotland to avoid relegation. Losing = bad obviously. But if we were to be relegated, it'd either highlight the relative lack of investment the SRU has put into the Junior System, or push World Rugby to Expand up to 16 teams as the competition really should be.

Watch out for their fullback Lebel and no.8 Joseph. Lebel has wheels and Joseph is a 30 year old behemoth masquerading as an 18 year old. Also, Carbonel is reserve 10 for Toulon and can and will take penalty shots from anywhere.

SA conceded too many penalties in the semi final and Carbonel duly knocked them over like a metronome, they didn't squander the points on offer like Argentina kindly did with us. I don't think we'll be allowed so many get out of jail free cards.

Not the result we wanted - but gee they fought hard. That was a good French side and their 10 is quite the sharp shooter.
