There is presumably another angle (and then the ability to zoom in on that) but from that footage you would be bloody upset if that causes you to miss the final.

Unbelievable they've managed to pluck that out in a post game review and deem it red card worthy.

Just think all the junior wallabies have achieved and Jordan Petaia is out injured

While I doubt he would have gone to the JRWC it seems to be a pretty special age group of players coming through.

Also, they chat with Jason Gillmore on the Fox Rugby podcast. He is a bright light of Australian rugby at the moment. Someone I saw was calling for him and McKeller to rekindle their coaching partnership, that won the Premier Rugby title with Souths a few years back. He's had a lot of success wherever he's gone. Won Premier Rugby, GPS Premiership, U20's National title etc. The players all seem to love him too, while not being a requirement, speaks highly of him as a person.

Agree Jets, the players do rate him , he is a very relatable bloke.

Still checks up on players he no longer coaches, lets players know he is keeping an eye out, just a good human really.

Definitely something this younger generation react very well to rather than the sergeant major stereotype.

I think this a pretty special - I watched the Brisbane talent run around at a schoolboy level and it is great to see them continuing to perform. Maybe the stars are aligning but its game by game. Roll on Sunday AM.

I think the fact that a guy like Issac Lucas who has played Super Rugby and done well doesn't stand out that much in this team shows how much talent there is across the park.

I'm not saying that Lucas isn't a stand out, but you don't look at this team and think he's far better than all his teammates.

Fraser McReight is a very good chance of being player of the tournament and whilst he does look amazing on the field, he's also not leagues ahead of our other forwards.

Gilly is universally loved, and having been coached by him in one of his first coaching gigs and attest that he is a beauty.

My business partner (we were both coached by him in U13s at school, then at Easts in Colts) texts him on whatsapp after every game. Without fail he gets a "thanks mate, appreciate the support."

I also like that so many of them are QLDers ;)

Totally agree with you Braveheart 81, there are a number of players in this team, who haven't played Super Rugby yet, but are standouts in every game, as we all could name these players and team very easily, along with the Lucas and McReight who are good players.

I do like Booby Sands statement that a lot of them are Queenslanders - Bring them all back to the Mighty Reds:):)
