Probably could be considered a square up for Kerr-Barlows try. Kaplan fully cock blocked the Canes player from making a tackle. It all came out in the wash.

Our only hope now is for one of the Cru, Bulls or Sharks to lose.

We are currently 8th, and being equal to the Canes will only put us in to 7th and out of the finals!

If after the weekend, we are equal with the Canes then we automatically go above them as we have won more games. If we beat the Tahs with a BP (unlikely) we still have a solid shot of sneaking in. If however we only gain 4 points from the Tahs game we need one of the teams you mention to lose. If we lose to the Tahs, which may very well happen, we are toast.

Without the bonus, they're unlikely to make the finals.

Yes the Reds will make the final. The best Aussie side easily IMO.

They will also get an automatic home semi final against the sixth place finisher by virtue of topping the Aussie conference.

(even if they end up in 5th or 6th place - depending on the Bull and Sharks games)
