I thought Folau looked underdone last night, is he completely over his injury? There was one passage of play where the ABs put a kick through and he seemed unable to stretch out in the chase for the ball.

Agree with others re: Mogg in that he needs to be dropped until he improves his physicality and tackling, at times last night he made Quade Cooper look like Jerry Collins. If Folau isn't injured move him to fullback and put Cummins on the wing, we could use his enthusiasm.ve one who always runs they all want to run and when we have one who loves to pass they all think they should pass.

Disagree with the complaints about To'omua, thought he was okay - it was his pass that put AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) through the hole. He tried to facilitate but the problem was the other backs kept shovelling, not straightening or committing. Maybe all the backs want to play like a flyhalf so when we ha

The forwards were okay, just lacked physicality in the backrow. Madness was supposed to be the bloke who knocked opposition players backwards both when they had the ball and in the rucks. He either needs to start doing this or Link finds someone who does, preferably someone who can play at 8 effectively.

Also, can someone tell Joubert if he is going to penalise one side for incorrect feed in the scrum, he should apply it to the other side as well.

Can't agree with some of the criticism of Folau. Yes, a more experienced winger would have found more work, but he's in his first year of rugby and Cheika played him at 15 all year. The AB's avoided his side of the paddock like the plague, and when we got the ball out there we crabbed so much that the man inside him was already running along the sideline and taking the tackle to avoid going out.

If you want the involvement, move him to 15 where he's been playing all year and he can inject himself all day into the attack.

I agree with you Froggy have Folau at Fullback. Do you cut O'Connor all together or put him somewhere else ? If I was the coach I would have said get the ball out to Folau as part of the game plan.

Lets drop the two try scorers.

o_O

Both of them caught the ball and out ran slower opponents. We have other people who can do that.

Are you even looking at what you type?

??? The ball got to his wing fairly oten but he didn't touch it?? Was he actively running away from the ball?

I think it's pretty obvious what I meant.........

The Wallabies spread the ball wide throughout the game........... yet Folau rarely saw the ball himself.........

There was plenty of attack within 5-10 metres of the right touch line.......

We had the same problems on the other side of the field but JOC (James O'Connor) still managed to get his hands on the ball pretty often.......

Well, I'm watching the replay now and the ball hasn't actually come out to Folau's wing anymore than twice max in the first half. Yep, he probably could have gone looking for more work but he has hardly played any wing at all in his very short rugby career and the Wallabies really need to accomodate him a bit more eg. have some real purpose in getting him involved more not just rely on him 'finding work' or play him where he's got the most of his limited experience.....at full-back

Struggle to see how the ARU are at fault for not selling out the ground.

Fact is all of the once-a-year fans who normally come to the Bledisloe already spent their cash on the Lions (and watched us get flogged, ruining whatever chance we had of getting them back again).

68,000 was not bad in the end. You'd hope for more, but I can understand why the number was what it was.
.

Have to say that as a neutral I am very concerned for the future of the game in Australia. I hope I am wrong but there seems to be lots of talk of how hard it is to sell the game and, that combined with a team that is struggling a bit, although who wouldn't against a frighteningly good NZ outfit, makes me think union is under pressure like never before. Are my concerns without any foundation? I sincerely hope they are.

My feeling when QC (Quade Cooper) came on was that he was on a mission to get down Folau's side of the field - if you look at the couple of phases before Simmons threw the intercept he seemed to be just trying to probe down that side to get IF into the game.
Presumably that came from on high

Folau was wasted. I hope the same thing doesn't happen next week. We got rid of Deans as he was one who liked to keep it in the forwards. I hope this coach is better and spreads it right out for his wingers and some high ball for Folau and be attacking a lot on his side. Bloody Angry Already, my poor TV Set next week will cop a Work Out, if I see any more Shit !!!

But the problem was we played too laterally after our forwards got beaten up front..........

The game is struggling.last nights poor crowd is proof of that.
The crowd was inflated by selling 1/2 price tickets for the last week, and they were still short by 12,000 odd.
It is a long way from sell outs in a day!
