Going to be some happy props around.

The Western Force is proud to announce the extension of the Club’s ongoing partnership with Harvey Beef for a fifth consecutive season.

and at the same time they do some great work for rugby:

"Harvey Beef Half Time Mini Rugby sees junior clubs playing on the field during half-time of Super Rugby Pacific games, as well as Meat the Force BBQs, taking Western Force players to local clubs to cook BBQs and engage with our community post-training."

Good to see the state government at least trying to assist both rugby and soccer in Perth, while not a large amount and in a way helps them with their own Venues West run HBF park, it is encouraging.

From The West 22/05/2024:

"Buried in the State Budget papers sits $1.7 million in funding for the next four years for Perth Glory and the Western Force, both of which have struggled in their respective leagues.

.....We want them to grow their membership,” Mr Templeman said...

... We want them to succeed and we have been cognisant of the need to look at ways of supporting them into the future so that they can grow their membership and grow the number of members and/or supporters who go to the grounds for games

This includes a reduction in licencing fees at HBF... "

Surely priority re-signings are Wagner, Rodda, Williams, Anstee, Stewart, O'Donnell, Beale.
Strengthening the team with some ex Rebels, maybe Koteka comes back from his ban etc.

Starting to look competetive.

Robertson not big enough to play Tighthead anymore, should go hard for Talakai.

Hopefully Faifua comes through as lock depth is key. Some good signs this year.

Guy Porter > Kuenzle at 13 for me, and keen to see Pasitoa get big mins at 10/12.

Don't see much in Poolman personally, and Potter solid but not spectacular, so would be chasing a strike winger or two in the off-season.

Disappointing to lose Tiatia and Anstee in particular.
Need to replace the 5 above with 3 or 4 wallabies from the rebels

Generally agree, but although Anstee is very athletic, he has never really showed he is up to the physicality of super level. Need to recruit someone in his place who will bring that. Tiatia was a good player but also very replacable.

We're in for some interesting times in Australian rugby.
With the reduction to 4 Super Rugby franchises in 2025, RA has reduced the number of OS player positions for each.
This reduction will have forced some changes and limit options.
