The 2nd Half of the Moana game happenedWhy would they go offshore? What happened to next man up mentality and having faith in the feeder/ development programs in Australia?

so you are saying that our feeder system needs to step up or we will keep exporting our talent to be dealt with by other countries. As the tahs found out last year, having faith in the feeder/ development programs for front rowers means you just keep injuring guys who aren't ready for pro rugby

Development comes from playing games and being given opportunity. No one arrives on this planet being an expert.
Yeah, they were talking short term injury cover for the props. I believe Osborne played a bit of NRC before leaving. I think he's most recently been on loan to London Scottish, so a loan makes sense but if he goes well I can't see quins being too worried about him staying at the force long-term. He's only 26 too, so plenty of rugby ahead of him.Medical joker?
I’ve never heard of Osbourne, but looks like he might be a bit of depth at LHP behind Marley Pearce

We don't have the money to support a tier of pro rugby below Super Rugby. Either you are in a squad already, or you are playing club and are 6 to 18 months of full time training away from being physically ready to play pros.so you are saying that our feeder system needs to step up or we will keep exporting our talent to be dealt with by other countries.

Is there a link to article?According to Christy the Force are talking to an 'Australian prop at Harlequins' which would almost certainly have to be Tom Osbourne.
what feeder/development programs? Super Rugby is the bottom tier professional competition in Australia. Club props get bent in half most of the time. Why would they go offshore? What happened to next man up mentality and having faith in the feeder/ development programs in Australia?
No article, was mentioned on the roar podcast, after the chat with Zane Hilton I think. Is there a link to article?
Did you see what happened to the force reserve props, mate? Or you here to just disagree with everyone. Bring home an Australian, who's playing professional oversea isn't a bad thing. Why would they go offshore? What happened to next man up mentality and having faith in the feeder/ development programs in Australia?
I hate that he wasn't holding the ball with two hands.I thought this deserved to be posted here
Putting the ball down with one hand was more a slight critique on the try. Still a cracker and couldn’t see Noah, Lynagh or Edmed pulling off a 70m sprint with a sore ankle to win the game. Although you’ve been quoted as saying Donno is no better than a 4th grader in club footy! Good one old Derps.I hate that he wasn't holding the ball with two hands.
Maybe in the instant each team needs to nominate a THP / LHP / HOOKER in each squad who can be called in if a team has a season a couple of season long injuries, that way its up front everyone knows they might get the call. Hey we need x we have lost Hoopert and HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) or something along those lines.I thought there was the possibility of excess players at other franchises being able to be loaned to other teams if they are short in a position? Didn't Pone get loaned to the Tahs last year? It makes great sense, especially if that player gets more game time which is always needed if you are in the bottom part of a squad and I’m sure most players would rather play a game and possibly push their case for higher honours than hold tackle bags. Why should the Force, in this case, be penalised in scrums due to bad luck with injuries when there would be someone ready to fill the void not needed at another team to help out. Obviously they would have to return if things got dire at their contracted team. It’s all in the interest of a better game and player game time.
That’s a good idea and not one hard to implement.Maybe in the instant each team needs to nominate a THP / LHP / HOOKER in each squad who can be called in if a team has a season a couple of season long injuries, that way its up front everyone knows they might get the call. Maybe, although Super rugby players of other teams that aren’t in the 23 should be a priority imo.I think something like a national talent squad 'lite' would be good.
A few dozen unsigned players selected across QPR/Shute and the other state competitions are placed into RA run camps during the offseason (and paid for their time).
All the Aussie Super Rugby coaches head along to the camps to get a good look at the players and essentially have them pre-vetted in the need for emergencies during the season. Gives some of the proper fringe SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) (Super Rugby Pacific) guys a bit of a look in as well and might keep them playing club rugby in OZ instead of heading overseas.
Played Sydney Uni for a few years before finishing degree at OxfordMedical joker?
