Negas been one of our strongest runners so far thus year
Negas? Is that his nickname?
I always particularly enjoy reading wj's posts and I've never quite worked whether it's because of the innocent and totally unashamed bias in his posts which rejoice in and celebrate everything the Waratahs do, no matter how cringingly bad; or whether it's because of the extraordinary word coinages that his ill-directed and undisciplined fingers lead him to.

Please God don't let him ever find the "Backspace" key or the edit function.

I think the people thinking Horne will get two are dreaming. The fact that after getting him into the dangerous position he made no attempt to take him down safely - in fact he dropped and pushed him with force. I'm not saying it deserves a big suspension, but it's those kinds of points of difference they seem to be cracking down on.

That's a shame he'll be out for the Brumbies' game...

Now the Tahs backline might put up a better defensive effort...

I was thinking 2 because it was similar to Ioane's but Horne has no priors.

Wasn't the prior 4 years ago?

Also have to remember that digby actually got 8 weeks!

This entire 'judiciary' system is laughable, just as you indicate Scotty. Just one example: go back and examine the Digby judgement, IIRC he got a 'base entry point medium' of 6 weeks for the tackle (not as severe as Horne's IMO) then there were all sorts of adjustments up and down, and one week was added for 'deterrence', which Horne seems to have escaped entirely!

As I said at the time, this whole ill-titled 'judiciary system' is far more like an out of control headmasters' Saturday morning detention system. On top of all the erratic outcomes, this crazy schema can well be grossly unfair to the teams that randomly get Mr Strict adjudging their player vs the teams that randomly are fortunate to get (relatively) Mr Lenient. And the longer a player is out, the longer match fitness takes to return, and so forth.

Back on the game, to be honest, probably the most disappointed I've been after a match with the way we played.

Easy to say that we had a good second half, but that's what frustrates me so much, is that if we were switched on for the first twenty minutes, didn't concede an easy try and several gimme offside penalties, we'd have won the bloody thing.

There is so much improvement in this side from last year, and they have bugger all to show for it.

BIAS -
a particular tendency or inclination, especially one that prevents unprejudiced consideration of a question; prejudice.

I do not feel anything I post is particularly bias, I stand up for the team I support amongst criticism that in my opinion is over the top and of a standard not applied to other teams (especially australian) but I find the word bias to be quite derogatory. It's a way of belittling an opinion that is different to yours without the need to debate or back up an opinion of your own in order to discredit it.

Further more, I don't edit or backspace as i find the use of these tools stupid, I write in ink and I think with my heart witch is smarter than five or six standard human brains.

And last of all, and the most dissapointing thing to have to explain to someone of your ilk Bruce is, young Tom Kingston was sick at the age of 9 and required a bone marrow transplant. He couldn't find a match in the family he had in the hospital and was likely to spend an extended stay there when George negas (who was filming a report on the standard of sterilization of reusable surgical tools) heard of his plight and submitted himself for testing, proving a match. Tom Kingston went on to make a full recovery but being the young whippersnapper he was after surgery he asked his father if he had part of negas in him would he become him, his father explained no, but the nicname "negas" stayed.

And finally that last paragraph may have been a complete fabrication but until someone proves otherwise it's fact.

Pretty average from the Tahs, again dominant forward work not leveraged.

Plenty of go forward, but no catch and pass from the backs, no fluidity

Now the kicking, I won't complain about the amount, there was only 24 but the execution, Meh ..... look to me most were even the right idea, but little chase and badly done.

To the GAGRtahs, this, and the title, will live proudly in Melbourne until next year.
