Thank god they went back to Jones/Pyle in the row, why they picked Al Campbel last week Il'll never know

I wondered why he was picked also. In the 2nd half the commentators mentioned that he had been replaced but he was hooked well before oranges.

I watched him on goal line defence whilst young Jones was buzzing around from one defensive post to another. By contrast he was like a lost soul, without a clue what to do.

Around the time of the American Civil War they had a Know Nothing political party in the USA. Big Al looked like he was campaigning for it.

From hearing foley on the radio, he is still searching for A full team performance and said that he is keeping the startin side but the subs will get alot of minutes this week.

One of the betting companies is giving odds of $1.12 for the Tahs, $5.50 for the Rebels. Now I reckon the Rebels will probably lose, but that's ridiculous.

Tahs bonus point win tonight, reds losing last night, brumbies probably lose at Loftus = Tahs to top of Australian conference. Not counting pre-hatched chickens or anything but fingers crossed :D

Australia used to have a rich tradition of rhyming slang which presumably derived from the cockney. Among the cognoscenti a phrase such as that above would normally be shortened to "having an Uncle" which would translate into "having a xxx".

Similarly with "having a Shirley" and "having an Edgar" which helps to keep alive respectively the memory of two great Australians, Miss Australia Shirley Bliss and jockey Edgar Britt. Their descendants may rightfully feel proud.

I doubt that has any connection with "The Dougie", whatever that is.
