If truth be known rebels fans might want to rethink gloating too much about having major sponsor vs tahs not as given the rebels are likely to be worse performing oz super rugby side this season they won’t have much else to gloat about this season. So you want to be a smart arse because Melbourne have a sponsor on their shirt for the first match of the season.
It’s a rare occurrence.

Maybe the Tahs could just chuck some random on there…

Leichhardt is great oval to watch rugby at so hoping we can at least get crowds of 5k to 7k there to start the rebuild. What is clear to me is how much damage various contributing factors had to lose fan support (last year crowds were nrc levels). So to suddenly expect big increase in crowds cf last 2 seasons unrealistic. Under Coleman I at least feel got the right coach to lead us forward.Really happy with the result, that Drua team will be a completely different team, next time we play them. They will get better, massive units in the backline.
I watched the game with a mate of mine, who was "off" the Tahs, he is keen to head down to the Reds game now, hopefully, we can keep on building and the fans will start to come back, so will the sponsors.
Not entirely convinced that our back 3 is our starting best but happy to see them get another chance next week
Very trueA naming sponsorship is one thing. The most valuable investment into a club is the personal donations. This is what stacks the balance sheet and assists with the backend costs for operations. I think you would be surprised at the tally on this for each club in comparison to what the public sees.
In the post game interview Coleman was gutted to be missing the team song, a small thing, but shows his passion for the role.Under Coleman I at least feel got the right coach to lead us forward.
Yep, I consider myself a diehard fan, I could not make it last night, but I must admit I was always 50/50 anyway, not because it was Parramatta, I just didn't want to be disappointed, full credit to the boys. I will be there next week and for the rest of the season.Leichhardt is great oval to watch rugby at so hoping we can at least get crowds of 5k to 7k there to start the rebuild. I do agree with that, the front of the Tahs strip is the most prestigious spot in domestic rugby in Aus and then probably the most expensive. Are you better lowering the asking price just to fill space or to hold out for the amount you wantIts tough, you don't want to undersell the front of your jersey & up and running the tahs have the biggest upside they move the needle more than anyone else but at the same time struggling & not getting he numbers through the gates. Hopefully it will start to turn around & someone will see the value in it.
Your only worth what someone will pay you
Tahs fans have been happy to dish it out over the years. But unhappy when someone makes a sarcastic remark about their lack of sponsorship. (Maybe you could get a sponsorship from Scotties Tissues.) Aren't the Tahs the jewel in Australian Rugby's crown? So you want to be a smart arse because Melbourne have a sponsor on their shirt for the first match of the season.

The irony of gloating by some Rebels fans about sponsorship and fan attendance isn’t lost on meTahs fans have been happy to dish it out over the years. Who cares.? I think it’s better to leave it till Coleman has put some distance on last year before you start accepting lowball offersGood to see the Waratahs have a major sponsor for the start of the season.
So are the rules that Tahs fans can bag other teams? But no one can bag the Tahs.First time Rebels have entered a season with a full jersey in years and now some fans are suddenly ridiculing other teams.
That is a fair response.Who cares.? I think it’s better to leave it till Coleman has put some distance on last year before you start accepting lowball offers
Won't get any arguments from me re: Rebel attendances. A lot of the time the Rebels don't even announce attendances. At a Rebels members forum 3 years ago I raised the fact that attendances weren't being announced on score board or social media and not even on AusStadiums website. And I was shot down that they did.The irony of gloating by some Rebels fans about sponsorship and fan attendance isn’t lost on me
I went with 2 mates to commbank last night and going with another mate to reds game next Friday. For me wanted to go to first game of drua in super rugby whilst Leichhardt stones throw for me from home whilst really enjoy watching rugby there given get to see players and action up close.Yep, I consider myself a diehard fan, I could not make it last night, but I must admit I was always 50/50 anyway, not because it was Parramatta, I just didn't want to be disappointed, full credit to the boys. My next-door neighbour is a massive reds fan, and he has a few mates going, so already there are 10 of us heading to Leichhardt.

I’m not a Tahs fan.So are the rules that Tahs fans can bag other teams? But no one can bag the Tahs.
I agree with your earlier post people have short memories. The Rebels have copped plenty over the years, a lot from Tahs fans.
One off the cuff sarcastic remark from me have the Tahs fans going troppo.
