Oi! WTF's wrong with playing ANY games in Wagga?
THE NSW Waratahs are poised to sign Argentinian backrower Alvaro Galindo for next year's Super Rugby competition.
Galindo, 31, has played 13 Tests for Argentina and has just completed the French season with Parisian club Racing Metro.
Ever had a beer at the Thirsty Crow? To quote John Elliott, "it's like an angel crying on my tongue". Couldn't be fresher, brewed some 10m away from where it's drunk.
Ever had a pie from Uranquinty? Paris pies? Ppphhh! You can't enjoy a beer and a pie on the banks of the Murrumbidgee in Paris. Nor can you watch the mighty Waggatahs go around. Or swallow a decent locally-produced Shiraz. French wine? Gimme a break.
Has the potential signing of Galindo been discussed?

Doesn't seem to be much information about him online or much on youtube that I can find. He only has 13 caps for his country in 10 years, stats like that don't really scream high quality! Not sure we should be wasting an overseas signing on someone who is essentially a journeyman who plays in the same position as our captain.
2 announcements from the tahs today: firstly confirming the signings of Jono Lance and Tala Grey; second to announce HSBC will no longer be main sponsor next year.
from the press release I take it they don't have one. they mentioned commencing a search for a new sponsor. Was just about to post that. Any ideas on who the new sponsor might be?
maybe they can offer Volvo a chance to step up to the big league?I'm going to go out on a limb and say the next sponsor will be a finance company.
