With Aus problems in the centers is importing a centre that's best days are behind him really problem solving for anything? I love BOD, but I struggle to believe he will bring enough to warrant the expense.

2014 BOD doesn't warrant the expense.. 2008-2010 BOD would have been awesome and could have potentially improved out current centre candidates by passing on experience and knowledge.

How many former Brumbies devolve when they go to the Tah Centre of Excellence. Tim Tavalea, Des Tuiavaii, Rocky Elsom and BKH

Yes because Rocky Elsom was setting the world alight in Canberra wasn't he.........

What about AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Sita Timani, Adam Freier?

Based on his form in the ITM Cup, it's going to be hard not to find a spot on the wing for Peter Betham.

A backline of McKibbin/Hart, Turner, Foley, Barnes, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Betham, Mitchell could be pretty good to see.

If everyone is healthy, it'would be good to have a backline with Horne and Carter struggling to make the starting side.

Alternatively, you could move Barnes to 15, Carter to 12 and Betham, Turner or Mitchell onto the bench.

Let's just hope people are healthy.

Depending how Mitchell's recover goes, there may be a future in him moving closer in to the centers... Given his limited running the past 18months, I wouldn't be surprised if he has lost a fair bit of speed..

I think playing barnes at 15 will be the best option going forward.

I would go with

10. Foley
11. Turner/Betham
12. Carter/Horne
13. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)
14. Mitchell
15. Barnes

Of all the Australian teams, I would say the tahs have the most 'established' quality in the backs. Especially the outside backs.

Another one to watch will be Kingston at wing/centre.

However the outside backs don't really matter unless the halves combo can turn it on. I think McKibbin and Foley will be starting come march, but I dont know if they are good enough to steer a team to the finals.

McKibbin in particular. He's a good kicker and safe enough at 9, but I don't think he offers enough. Foley might not be at the necessary level just yet, but I think he deserves significant investment by the Waratahs. He could be their flyhalf for a long time, but getting there won't happen over night.

What if he teaches AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) how to pass when playing at 13? Would that be worth the expenses?

One thing I do like is the pack picks itself, the best 8 are clear assuming all are fit. Can't say that about many teams.

1. Robinson 2. TPN 3. Kepu 4. Douglas 5. Timani 6. Dennis 7. Hooper 8. Palu

Just need to get them playing consistently together.

If you can keep them on the park, that is one seriously good and well balanced forward pack.
