Playing Sio at THP is madness when he's never done it at pro level. There would want to be some sound reasoning behind that one.

But I don't mind Laurie there.

I would ahve picked smith over fatcat for a LHP replacement anyway. At a junior level they can be interchangeable, but at a senior (let alone professional level) they aren't really that interchangeable.

What's everyone's thoughts on Silva Silva I haven't seen much of him as he seems injury prone how's he rank against the above.

At the start of the season he would have been ahead of Latu and Leafa but he's been out injured too long.

He'll be hard pressed getting himself ahead of Mann-Rea at the start of next year. Mann-Rea stood up for the Brumbies when he was needed.

Definitely a talent though. Siliva and Latu are definitely Wallabies of the future.

Yeah Madness Weeks should get the THP after Kepu and Alexander then if anything push Slipper across.

That is madness, is Alexander now a LHP prop again, is Phipps part of the lock cover?
Alexander is a fantastic LHP, and I think was a better player all round when there, he moved for the good of the team.

Slipper and Alexander are probably our 2 props who can switch easily and be Test Props..

At this point in time I'd suggest that the 5 currently selected would be the ones your take into the WC, with Slipper switching if necessary for a game. In the event of a significant injury, Laurie gets brought into the side, and if it's a loosehead who's gone down, Kepu or Alexander can switch in the event of a minor injury.

It is the perennial Aus issue, we have props playing the entire season predominantly on one side and they then get flipped when they turn up for the Wobs.

Alexander has been doing very well at THP, why flip him? We need two, him and Kepu are good options, let them specialise

I agree with this, I was just saying the only two who could get swapped around are Slips and Alexander. I wouldn't though unless desperate.

Kepu is fine to play LHP as well. He actually had a few stints there for the Tahs this year when they subbed Robbo first.

That said, Kepu has asserted himself as first choice THP and should stay there.

It is definitely a bonus that we have three props who can switch if needed.

Now that we have a few good performing tighthead props and a few good performing loosehead props surely the need to do so is no longer there, barring injuries.

Alexander was a good LHP and in another universe would have stayed there, potentially dominating in the years to come.

Siliva Siliva will be the starting Wallaby hooker if he can keep himself off the injury lists. Fantastic player.
