he looked great last weekend in particular. Barnes at 10 and crash ball carter at 12 is working for him but I'm not sure how he'd go outside the crab

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

The crab? I like it; but let's not write Giteau off yet folks.

It's tempting to go back to the Giteau at 9 experiment for the Fiji test with Genia out; I just don't like the look of the other candidates.

Giteau, Cooper, Barnes inside combo.

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Digby, Mitchell, Hynes outside combo.

Horne, O'Connor, Turner bench combo

Why don't we just put AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 9? He's played every other position for the Brumbies this year, I think it is time he expanded his repertoire.

I had a bitch about this at the start of the season.
How can the guy reach his potential in any position when he's always being used as cover

Haha yeh the problem with Burgo is that he DOES pass.

Burgess varies from game to game. Against the Canes his delivery was lightning and his passes were like bullets, all perfectly in front of the player.

Yeah, he took the 2-step sideways out of his game, and looked all the better for it. His problem is not ability, but consistency. If only he could get close to the consistency of good play that Genia has displayed all year.

All the talk seems in the papers seems to be that if when Genia is out, Cooper won't play. Seems strange, if it's likely he'll be 10 in 5 weeks, then he should play no matter who is halfback. One thing I have noticed this year is that he seems very good at picking bad passes out of the air (as opposed to previous years).

Growden's stuff in the SMH is an example:

http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-union/u...et-to-cost-beale-or-cooper-20100521-w1rs.html

And, on Growden, is he f#%cken serious?:

Wingers: Digby Ioane is certain to be one, and on form the other should go to Drew Mitchell. However, if Rod Davies or Luke Morahan were available they would probably have been chosen ahead of Mitchell. Lachie Turner is also pressing hard.

Mitchell has been the stand out Aus winger this year and Morahan not even starting for the Reds.

Yeah that made me wonder what rugby grumbles has been watching, Morahan apart from one try has looked quite a lazy rugby player in his games for the Reds.

You beat me to posting it. I'm so sick of absolutely all the retarded dribble that comes out of his mouth... He always sounds so bitter...

I think that with Genia out, playing the Tahs' 9/10 combo isn't a bad idea. Gits definately at 12. so that leaves these players to fill in...

Cooper, Beale, Horne, Mitchell, Turner, Iaone, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), JOC (James O'Connor), Valentine, Carter.

Assuming Carter will miss out:

9: Burgess
10: Berwick
11: Mitchell
12: Gits
13: Horne
14: Turner
15: AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)
20: Valentine
21: Beale/JOC (James O'Connor)/Cooper
22: Iaone/JOC (James O'Connor)/Beale

We have 12 players fighting for 10 spots.

No Chambers? He would have a better chance than carter IMO, maybe not horne though

Mitchell has been great. But then he has been pretty average in some games. The most consistent winger/fullback has been Hynes, while Mitchell has had some of the best performances.
