One could easily mount an argument for both Cooper and Foley to either go to the RWC or stay at home.
Cooper: worn a few injuries the last few years affecting his playing time for the Reds, which when he got on the paddock was severely hampered by a shit coach. Probably more upside than Foley but when Quade's bad he's deplorable. I don't think his wide-passing game's what Cheika wants and (cue the screeching arguments) his defence isn't good enough to win a RWC.
Foley: the best 5/8 in Oz for taking the ball to the line. Or was. Bernard's current form is quite concerning, if it continues to tumble it's hard to justify his selection. Let's hope Larkham can identify what's happening here and rectify it.
