The problem with Latu being penalised at the breakdown seems to be that he has short legs in the first place, then when he pilfers he has his legs a long way apart for stability, which gets him even closer to the ground. While often a slow motion replay shows he was, in fact, supporting his own weight, at full speed and from a quick glance by a ref it looks like he's not.

Imo he and Ready are are best upcoming 2's, but both had setbacks this year, Latu with injury and then fitness, and Ready seemed to get distracted and lost form. I thought he was good yesterday in the NRC, and it would be great for Aus rugby if these two could really come on in 2018.

With no Pocock having a hooker that is good over the ball will help to balance out the lack of a recognised fetcher in the back row. Latu is very effective sometimes so much so he is unfairly penalised and against the Boks this could be costly in our own half. If I was Cheika I would be instructing Latu to sound out the referee to some extent and if he begins to penalise us then hold back a bit. You don't want to jeopardise a game over a few dodgy penalties at the breakdown.

Firstly, he's already contemplated his future. He's stood down from captaincy and will retire from internationals at the end of the year.

Secondly, I made a joke in rhyme. This forum has strange double standards when it comes to players, jokes and who's fair game or not.

Lighten up a bit mate and smell the roses, "If you lose the power to laugh, you lose the power to think".

Thirdly, rejoices is very apt description for those who follow the Wallabies and it's players form (or lack thereof) as Moore is one of "Cheika's Pets" who he has proven incapable of dropping regardless of form, performance or future ability. We now have one less selection quandary that we'll be scratching our heads over.

No.

Wasn't funny.

Was offensive.

We will see if he has the skills to stay on his feet. Got a heap of turnovers in Super rugby but then the Referees really seemed to ping him big time, basically negating the good work he was doing (in getting the turnovers)
Unfairly though, he just has such a low centre of gravity that it appears he isn't supporting his own weight, when in fact he's actually just rounder than he is tall. Happened numerous times throughout last season, to the point where he just stopped trying towards the end.

Wow obviously you've forgotten about this little effort from Hodge running like a deranged camel.

If I remember correctly he came on as a late replacement around the 74th minute mark. He would have been fresh and full of beans running past opposition players who had been running around for 79 mins and 20 sec. That would have helped to make it look as impressive as it did.

Is NIB Stadium in Perthfontein?

Very important test for the Springbokke. This one we need to win urgently.

I'm going to Subbies Div 1 finals as President of my club that day, and I should be well cut by the time this one rolls around.

Both sides will apply pressure. It will be interesting to see how each team deals with it.

It's just a matter of time and gentle reminders from his captain to the ref that the technique is solid. Polite discussions with referee bodies and video footage as back up will also help.
Refs will stop penalising him soon.

Reckon it's the culmination of many things

Continuation of Cheika and his antics, selections
The state of Aussie rugby in general
The "Force Factor"
The "Pulver Factor"
The shit results over the past couple of years

GAGR Posters are only a reflection of the wider rugby community and whilst you have the Chek Lovers ( S&M blokes IMO) blah blah on here, people are just generally pissed off. You add that to the NRL finals coming up and of course there is not going to be much interest.

I don't think the Wallabies will perform as well as they did last time (and we fucking lost anyway) and whilst heart says Australia, head says Saffas by 7

I was thinking more of a demented duck. The front on view shows an interesting gait! I was surprised how quick he was, but he has a very long stride which helps.

This is what is so dumb about the reaction to that game. We still lost the bloody game. 'What a turn around!' the media & ARU say. Mate, you still bloody lost. As far as the history books are concerned it is business as usual.

Complete rubbish.

Aus can win but it depends on the team named, the right crop of players will be the difference. This game needs more speed and better defence, KHunt at 12 is what it needs and Beale at 10 or 15. Folau and Naivalu (o speight) on wings and DHP at 15. Powell deserves a bench spot alteast, Genia will start cause even though he was shit against NZ in round 1, he was good in round 2, Timani at 6, McMahon at 6, TPN at 2, Rory and dam at locks ..the rest the same

Neither Hunt nor Naivalu are back from injury yet.

I expect we will name the same team as last test except for TPN starting for Moore and Coleman starting for Simmons.

I expect Latu will pip Uelese for the 16 jersey, Rodda and Simmons is a bit of a coinflip (hopefully they go with Rodda) and the other reserves will remain the same.
