Petaia has not been good for a few tests now......... should’ve come off far earlier as I don’t recall him actually doing anything in the second half, which was an improvement from the first.

If we had more tests to play I’d definitely shift Paisami to 13 (who seems to be the smarter footballer already), and give Simone another crack at 12.

Hanigan - after an hour of rugby his stats were one tackle, and 2 runs for 4m.......... jumped well in the lineout, but that’s about all.

It’s a shame Wilson had to come off for Valetini - would have loved to have seen them both on at the same time.

And we still can’t fucking maul.

I still like Rennie. Biggest criticism is his use of the bench and bench player selection.

Game-plans seem fine so far - think it's more execution from players then anything.

I’m sure he noticed mate, and noticed how it’s these sort of decisions that lose fans from our game to the others. Without an audience to entertain there is no money and no professional sports. People don’t pay money to see 3 yellow cards and a red. The game needs to look at their law interpretations.

Well Argentina would have to take that as a win - losing 3 key players to suspension and coming away having beaten all blacks for first time and to also not lose a game to Wallabies in two tests would have to be pleased even if 3rd in tri-nattions.

It’s not good enough, however as 4 were against all blacks think I would have been happy with 2 or 3 out of the 6.

As I see it he needs results next year when we have a full proper super seasons and ability to bring back 2 international players.

I only just realised the draw meant we got the wooden spoon - even moreso then a win for Argentina and moreso a loss for us given lost the chance for coming second in tri nations. Those two draws were the difference between us winning the tri nations vs getting the wooden spoon...

Wallabies just seem to fail to be clinical and know how to win games - deer in headlights syndrome. In a close game you would find it hard I suspect given our record to grind out those close games for a win

The team selections have been too unsettled, no blame on Rennie, he has to try players out. So much for a new coach to come to grips with, he has to get to know RA, his subordinates, and the players. And he will be called upon to spend time with sponsors and all the stakeholders of the game. Plus move home, settle his family in. And on and bloody on. It is amazing that we have done as well as we have, frankly.

Another pretty ordinary game to be frank; probably due to a combination of the weather and the type of rugby that Argentina play.

I thought the forward pack did a reasonable job- secured the majority of our set-piece ball and provided a platform. It's still lacking a powerful ball-runner or two (I'm not sure Wilson will ever provide enough impact with ball-in-hand to be a long-term number 8 unless we find a powerful blindside) but was generally more than serviceable.

Our backs were definitely subpar though; despite the rain we had enough possession that we should have been able to create a few line break opportunities but it just did not happen. There was a tendency for our backs to be far too lateral in attack, and we should have used Paisami or Petaia to straighten up and not allow the Argies to slide so easily- we made life too easy for their 13 who is strong defensively.

I will comment on the leeway we tend to give to players like White and Hodge though. For every good game they have against strong opposition, they have another five average to poor games - and the reality is we keep losing. I don't think either have ever been strong enough players on the international stage that their positions cannot be questioned. Have you ever seen Hodge threaten the line in international rugby? Does his massive kicking game win us that many games?

And just to pre-empt some responses, Hooper does not fall in the above category- he rarely plays poorly or is considerably outperformed.
