A missed lineout is a missed lineout. Because it’s with 5 minutes left and we’re chasing the game is irrelevant. A miss in the first 5 creates as much pressure as the end.
that’s like saying a goal keeper who missed a spot kick in the first minute is a better keeper than one who misses it under pressure in the shootout.
You’re allowed to like porecki more. But don’t try to say it’s because his lineout throwing is better.
man let’s be Frank. What you think and what happened are different here things
Well I think this is where we disagree. You hear ex-players talk about this all the time. Rugby is about moments, the great players stand up in the 'big moments'. They don't always have the stats to follow.
A missed line-out in the first 5minutes has a lot less bearing on the game as you have 75mins to rectify your error. There is added pressure for missing a line-out with 5minutes to go as it's literally your last chance to win the game.
The same can be said of goal-kicking to win a game after the buzzer.
So a miss in the first 5 does NOT create the same pressure as the end. I strongly disagree with your statement here.
Otherwise, wouldn't the team with the best stats always win? But that's not always case. Unless the stats are limited to the scoreboard.
