I get you, but it's a tricky one. If we saw the exact same scenario in the NRL, I doubt we'd see the tacklers getting into anywhere near as low a position as the ABs were (a few of the Origin hits were testament to this), inherently making it more dangerous for all involved.

I think we've so far gone down the right path in encourage good body height and positioning, but agree focussing on the safety of tacklers is probably the next step. Not sure what the answer is, but I do think it's again related to technique as opposed to trying to outlaw aspects of free play.

Just reading through some of the previous posts about the 3-2-1s, it’s a bit dire for us Tahs supporters this weekend trying to allocate points.

I'll give Kellaway the 3, having signed with us again having previously played for us. Kaleia should get the 2 as it sounds like he is signing, Lancaster gets 1 on debut for the same reason. Donaldson gets a HM for playing for us last year, as do Frost and Pollard for being NSW origin.

Doleman. First penalty against us for player tackling when on the ground. How many times do you see that get ignored. Honestly it’s like a monkey in a room with a red phone directly to his brain telling him what to penalise
