Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

Joe Blow

I think Gordon has solidified himself as first choice for now. Good to give Tate and Nic White some game time. I also hear Wilson is to play in the back row with Valetini and McReight. That should be interesting and give us a powerful pack to counter the Georgians.

Everybody knows that the maul defence s*cks so the Georgian are gonna target that. I know it, you know it, everyone knows it.

So pick the best defender of maul in the squad and train your f*cking maul defence
would argue that maul defense isn’t a selection issue but more coaching and gameplan. The sh*t maul defence hopefully stems from a lack of time together under the coaching staff.

just watching the u20 wallabies vs georgia game, they will be a very good challenge for our fowards at the set piece but will hopefully tire and provide opportunities to our backline to gain confidence.

Doran has leaked a few potential changes to the lineup

1. Hodgman
2.
3. Nonggor
4.
5.
6.
7.
8. Wilson
9. McDermott
10. Donaldson
11. Lancaster
12.
13. Ikitau
14.
15.

20. White
21. Lolesio

Doran has Valetini and McReight in the backrow alongside Wilson. I hope that is the way they go, it would be ideal for Harry to get time with both McReight and McDermott on the field to make the most of their excellent combination.

I think I read somewhere it was an all QLD front row so Faesslar (or even Nasser) at 2

I think they'll keep Kellaway and Wright in the starting team

Isn't one of Liam Wright's strengths in the area of maul defence? And JS has suggested he's back in the team for Georgia.

I don't think he's particularly noted for it, especially compared to some of the locks, eg Swain, Skelton.

Maybe he organisers the lineout structure a bit better than those on the field last week? It could scarcely be worse
