But the Wallabies entered this game with four wins on the trot, a known new way of playing the game under a new coach that lead the local super rugby franchise to a title and a period that put them back on the map and competing very well with the other football codes. The crowd was very poor no matter which way you spin it.
so Hanson & I reckon Cottrell into the overall squad..
No, I didn't realise he was injured..re Hanson, it is presumed future inclusion in the larger squad that I am talking about, not the match day 23Lots of press seem to be saying Hanson or S Finger. Is the latter even in the larger squad?
Did they score more tries last night that a Robbie Deans coached team scored in a season (playing against tier one teams).
Use it or lose it I say. Perth I am sure would want it and that new re development at the Adelaide oval looks an absolute rippa.
Newcastle looks a good option also because they put on a good turnout for that Scotland game in those dreadful conditions.
That crowd last night was just terrible. I am not confident about Melbourne either next week. Fantastic rectangle stadium and they still take test rugby to a shitty oval.
Look guys, the tickets were too expensive. Fact.
I walked up to the game at 6pm after having a beer at Caxton st, saw that the cheapest ticket was $55 dollars and left.
The average Joe such as myself (hilarious as my first name is just that) would probably want to consume 4 beers during a game of football (TBH I don't know how much the average Joe drinks as I normally have twice that amount). Suncorp charges $8.50 for a watered down XXXX gold.
By the time I would have left the stadium I would have been $90 dollars down without even thinking about purchasing some delicious deep fried chippies.
As a student, I can't afford that. So you know what I did?
I went 1/2'sies in a carton with my brother and got shitfaced yelling at the TV from the comfort of my lounge room.
Cost: $17.50
If there was a ticket for 30 dollars, I would have bought it. But $55. for an event that is 20 thousand short of selling out?
Jog on Pulver & ARU you greedy bastards.

Greedy? Fuck me there has been some rubbish spouted on this issue. Fact.
Test tickets are a premium product and $55 is a pretty reasonable price. Of course that is always going to be too much for some, and going '1/2sies' in a case and watching it at home is always going to be the cheaper option.
.
Shit, so everyone is Brisbane are broke-ass students are they? Damn. must have maxed out those credit cards to go to Origin 1 then.
Well judging from the 20,000 EMPTY seats the tickets were too expensive.
But please, instead of burying your head in the sand with one hand up your ass perhaps you could contribute to the argument instead of labelling anyone who wants to save $100 as "broke-ass".

What was the reason behind Carter and Simmons swapping jumpers? Did they swap sides, or did Link do it to make the French put the pressure on the 'old hand', and not the 'new bloke'?!
