Wallabies v England November 1

Tupou hasn't been too bad starting, and AAA gives the experience at the back-end, plus be his first game in a while wouldn't it be?
Hopefully AA can help counter the stacked English bench front row.

Decent 23 all things considered. Not convinced by Hamish Stewart but hopefully Tane shoots the lights out and he’s hardly needed

That Nick Champion de Crespigny is on the bench & not Carlo Tizzano, for me is a flag that the Wallabies back row will stay the game, with CdC going into the lock position along with Lukhan Salakaia-Loto.
Playing against Maro Itoje & Ollie Chessum is going to be a hard day at the office for Frost & Williams, & they will be gassed.
At the same time, CdC's preferred position is loose forward & can also replace Rob Valetini if injured (calf problem flaring) or gassed.
No charge for this critical insight ;)

Tizzano has an "MCL twinge" - his knee was strapped heavily towards the end of the game against Japan, he probably would've come off of they had forwards left on the bench. I doubt they'll look to replace both locks though, not sure CdC is much more than emergency cover there.

I bet RA are pumped they paid $100k to get Carter Gordon on a plane ASAP and he's now been left out of two squads with what we believe is some type of lower limb injury/strain.

FFS Hamish Stewart on the bench against England is dire.

The rankings equation - regardless of any other results on the weekend:

Any loss - we stay at 7th and England will jump France to 4th.
A draw to 15 point win - we jump Argentina to 6th
A 16+ point win - we jump both Argentina and England to 5th.

There are obviously a few holes there due to well flagged injuries & Reg 9 unavailability, but I'm curious as to what alternatives that are available will have filled you with confidence?
Seeing Pietsch, Gordon and Faesslar would be good

Well, unfortunately Lolesio, Lynagh and Meredith are all injured and then there’s really no one else except for maybe… HMP?

So we’ve just got to lump it.

Potter is there over Pietsch for the impending aerial bombardment, Gordon isn't quite ready, and Faessler maybe isn't either.
Pietsch is also being managed for his jaw too hence not being selected.\

I agree with other posters, it's our best team but looks real skinny without Ikitau, Wright and Skelton.
