Wallaby starting FR should be Tahs front row. Robinson is peerless, TPN is 10/10 to Moore's 9/10, Kepu has improved 50% this season and is a fully grown man, unlike Slipper - a boy.

I understand where you are coming from but under that logic I would pick Jarrod Saffy and Richard Brown over those two. Higginbotham adds that extra dynacism (is that a word?) and without Palu for a while, we need that extra athleticism in the backrow.

I think the same goes for Radike Samo, he adds that extra impact (big tackles/runs) that Mowen and Dennis don't seem to have.

Having said that though, I think both Mowen and Dennis will get opportunities in years to come, just not right now.

Saffy doesn't offer a lineout option like Mowen or Dennis but ticks the other boxes. Samo ticks them all but I have too many memories of him having loose hands and poor application. He has had his best season by far this year, but it is hard to forget the mediocrity of the past.

Brown is the epitome of the work rate whore that has huge number but little to no effectiveness at test level. He is a superb Super level player but the reason he starts most force games on the bench is that the others are better. A quick review of test matches will show you Brown being dominated at the ruck by wingers

I'm going to assume you haven't watched Slipper that much recently? His work rate is great and scrummaging is being let down by the other front rowers.

I do agree on Sekope Kepu though, I would have him at Loosehead.

On the backrow again, I don't want to come through sounding like a bad case of Reds bias, because I rate Pocock,Elsom,Palu,McCalman,Hodgson over Higginbotham and Samo...just to clear that up haha

I'm not putting forward Brown and Saffy for Wallaby spots just for the record, just stating that I believe they are currently playing better then the two you mentioned.

I don't think any of the players we have mentioned will be in the wallaby 22

Slipper to start simply because he is a THP more than a LHP. Kepu used to be a specialist LHP who could play THP at a pinch. I think now he could be one of the few that are equally at home on either side. He should be on the bench to cover both sides without disrupting the front row hugely if Robo goes down by having to swap him from TH so Slipper can come on from the bench.

i think brown is a good 6 playing 8 for the force. his games at 6 for the force have been outstanding (his 50th game maybe?)
with the extra mobility in s15 hes good for the force at 8 but too small it test level
he has the size and workrate for test 6 i think.

Well Ive read some garbage on this bored, but this takes the cake: Kepu over Robinson at LHP, Slipper over kepu at THP, Hodgson over both Higgs and samo....

At least you acknowledge the Reds FR, Slipper aside, is poor.

pat maccabe at inside centre.

It's an interesting idea, and I do have him pegged as a future Wallaby 13.

He's strong in defence, plus he offers more penetration in attack and is generally more skillful to his other 'tough' centre counterparts in Carter and Fainga'a.

But at this stage I see Deans taking him as a versatile backup to slot in wherever needed, with Giteau/JOC (James O'Connor)/Barnes as the 12 candidates.

Mate differing opinions does not mean it is garbage. I suggest you learn to respond coherently and appropriately before posting things.

And for fuck's sake, it's board.

Please no spelling nazi's or else I am in a world of hurt. :)

Slipper always is a good worker but in the last few weeks he has been having some serious impact.

I want bother distinguishing who starts from who is on the bench but having Robinson, TPN, Slipper, Kepu and Moore covering the front row in a Wallaby 22 is quallity and ticks all the boxes. Hold that as a happy thought peoples.

It's Nazis. ;)
Back on topic, I fully agree with the second part - if they all get and stay fit, we will be well served, i think.

While you might be technically right Cyclo, I'm sure Ruggo was referring to the fact that Nazi is a bastardised English translation of the NSDAP, or Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, and as a shortened version was indicating the letters after the 'zi' in 'sozialistische' with the use of his apostrophe.
