Wallabies 2025

Wilson

Rod McCall (65)
Add Noah to that...

Get the sense no signatures to be made until after the final Test?
Apparently there's a bit of a deadline within a week or so of the new coach announcement for a lot of the offers out there, because RA need to know if they have to move onto to securing the next guy. Expect a fair bit of contracting movement to come out by early April.

Dolly hasn't shown anything this season that indicates he's Wallabies material.

That's fair, but I think Dolly is competing for that 4th Booker spot in the wider squad.

I'd imagine it's Fez and BPA as 1 & 2 with Poreki being 3rd if he stays on the field this season.

I acknowledge I'm being bias but I haven't had a chance to watch much of the Brumbies to see Pollard. But Lonergen just seems too under sized and ineffectual around the park when I've seen him play

I think Pollard has the no.2 spot at the moment. He's looking bigger and showing the ability to move and go through half gaps he was on the way through the system. Not surprising given hes 23 now and going to be entering his prime. I think some people still hold a view on him as the 21 year old thrown out in Arg on debut for the Wallabies.
Pollard is great. Genuinely pinballing around the field. I have to admit that, despite my former tight five credentials, I often neglect to watch the piggies do the dirty work and just see how they go in the big plays so have no idea who is best at scrum/LO.

Our coach, who won't sign for next year, not selecting contracted players who haven't signed for next year, so we put out a weaker team for one of the all-time critical Australian rugby series, would be one of the most Australian rugby things to have happened

I think BPA has looked really good for the force - has been doing a lot of the heavy lift. I would definitely give him the inside track on the number 2 spot for now based on his test experience.
