Is there any new mail on this? Last I heard he was going to make a call post ANS and since we've just seen Journo's pining over him.Doesn't look promising for Joe to stay post Lions hey.

No problem with critiquing. But that wasn't critiquing, that was criticising. While I agree JAS was impressive, there is noting wrong with critiquing a professional sportsman. It's part of the job and no one should be above criticism (valid or not)

Why?Doesn't look promising for Joe to stay post Lions hey.
All his comments have an air of finality and wise old man nodding, whilst walking off into the sunset vibes. Why?
I'd say Les Kiss, he has International coaching experience and having coached with Schmidt previously there should be a bit of continuity thereWhat are our realistic contingencies if Joe leaves? Depending on how the Tahs go next year, their coaching team would be pretty well credentialed. Bernie Larkham is another obvious option.
Hopefully its just a case of a guy not being acutely aware of the language he's using and how it might be construed in the context of the story. This quote where he sounds like he's speaking about coaching the Wallabies in the past tense doesn't fill me with confidence:
"I would have to say I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the players and the staff, and the challenge that it's been,"

Sure he has, Iain.
I mean, this could also be simply reflecting on his experience so far - nothing wrong with using past tense in that instance. This quote where he sounds like he's speaking about coaching the Wallabies in the past tense doesn't fill me with confidence:
