I watched the game, he made way to many mistakes and wasn't that crisp as you say. While he does have a good pass and game, that was not one of them, he made a lot of simple mistakes.

Sua'ali'i smashed expectations and then some. We thought he was going to be debuted off the bench, on the wing against Wales for 15 minutes. He's played 4 games against 3 tough teams in the 13 position and not looked at sea without a super game. That's fucked. I doubt I'll see a debut season like it again.

Did he actually win any high ball contests against Ireland? Sure, put pressure on the receiver, but I can't recall any forced dropped ball by the Irish. His high jumping/athleticism is his best attribute but the Irish were able to nullify it for the whole game. I wouldn't rate him more than a 3/10 overall, but with a season of Super Rugby under his belt, who knows? Maybe he should have had that season as his introduction before being thrown into the test cauldron.

If JAS draws defenders and changes the opposition game plan (which I think he is doing) then he’s doing his job. It’s up to the coaches and the halves to find a way to free up the other 14 players on the pitch.
We are seeing more ball movement because of his work, but I think as opposing defenders start to back off to cover the offloads we will see him run more

This is accurate but I would go further. His overall stats were poor, his reading of where to be positionally when off the ball is poor, his lack of urgency to get back in support of his other outside backs when the opposition kicks through is poor. His tackling technique is poor and his tackle success rate against England was only 50%. Better against Ireland where he only fell off one tackle. I think he got a kick in the arse after the first couple of games about his instinct to jam in as he positioned himself better against Ireland. I rate players at international level who take fast and effective actions to get second and third touches in attack or tackles in defence. Sua'ali'i is nowhere near this standard yet. All that said, the kid clearly has great athletic ability and with time could develop into a great winger.

He's probably a while off - likely post 2027 at best, depending the the direction his career takes. Unlikely to see much floor time behind Tate and Kalani this year.

I think they offer different things - Kalani to me has a quicker pass/ distribution off the deck and is a more traditional 9 , with Werchon well and truly has modelled his game off Tate as a probing ball runner who can take on the line.
Kalani also not known to be a head case like Werchon, but you'd hope this would improve with time/ maturity.
Tate can play 80' for a full season, so I can't see why you would replace him unless you're bringing on a point of difference.

Werchon's lack of maturity at club level was a real influence in his team losing the QPR grand final.
If people get frustrated with White's demeanour and Tate's lack of consistency - Werchon definitely isn't the answer.

Results aside, we physically beat the fuck out of the 4 Home Nations and dispelled any questions over our ability to compete with the Lions.
Bar a few stupid short kicks against Scotland we weren't far from a Grand Slam - or at least a fuckload closer than a lot of us thought we'd get.
The mental fortitude and belief is the most impressive part.

The Su'ali'i hate on these forums is disgusting. Jealousy is the only way to describe it. JAS provided more threat in attack and defence than anyone would have expected and if you look at stuff about the squad, his involvement lifted them. Ask Sione Tuipulotu how the hit felt.

I wouldn't say Tate is inconsistent - just mostly ineffective inside our own half. Unless there is a half hole around the edge of a ruck where he can gas a lazy A defender, he doesn't have the boot (or a good enough 10 to work with) to relieve pressure.
