If core skills are why he's been left out, I don't see that as being an issue, as long as it's consistent.

I actually think he was still, consistently, the best halfback this year...

McDermott still seems to have some issues with his core duties, and Lonergan didn't really continue on from last year's form.

Gordon was really good in patches, but his last performances for the Wallabies were horrific.

Bloke constantly shows that he is a bad influence and constantly gets brought into the squad.

Don't understand Nasser, I didn't think he did enough this year? Same with Blyth, he struggled to even make the match day 23.

Probably due to a lack of other options. I wasn't really impressed with Lonergan this season, Goddard seemed to be a better option for the Brums attack at times
