I'm watching the replay of England vs Ireland U20s. Both sides look so good, I'm not sure if the Junior Wallabies can beat them

Yeah I gather there was a change or two. Not a wholly impressive performance by Australia. Glimmers of class but a lack of consistency. Vaihu probably our best. Thought our back five in the pack were all fairly average and our backrow in particular failed to make a real impact. Anan put some big shots on but still suffers from just not being a specialist on any position. Two wingers looked great. HMP solid but that Bowen play to set up Lancaster was lovely. Still not convinced by Gordon at 15 while I thought Thorn at 9 struggled to provide any real continuity.

How arrogant can we be to make so many changes. They’ll say we have confidence in the squad but we don’t have the top level talent to make so many changes.

Sure conditions were poor as well but they weren’t great in NZ either.

Nonexistent Backrow. Poor from 9, 15.

Thank goodness Wilson & Bowen got on the field.

Will say that Annan & Vaihu were strong in attack and defence. Lancaster and Leahy both very good on the Wing. Big fast ball runners are gold. Rebels have a ready made replacement for Monty in Lancaster.

Got away with that one and control our own tournament. Hopefully Barrett and De Lutiis are rested up and ready to roll.

Thought the ref was very good. I can’t recall an incorrect call and on the judgement ones he seemed fair.

I’d love to see Annan get a stint long term at 12. Gives some Anthony Fainga'a, Pat McCabe vibes.

Gordon plays 15 like a 10. The more he plays there the better he’ll get but it’s just how long that takes…

Yeah Taj did look more of a ball player than a hard running 13 but DV was prob our best player.

MG prob should have played 10 last night with no Lynagh we have the outside backs to cover 15
