Very exciting

Ye there was a bit of bias to NC maybe some coaches picking the teams

This is a bit irrelevant but, my nephew's friend from IGS Hardbottle made the team last year very good player, I've been watching a couple IGS 16A games and I've missed him is he injured?

From NSW here anyone from QLD that knows when the final reds team is announced? Seems like they’re a bit behind the tahs schedule wise.

There has been a lot of chatter on other channels. Nothing from Reds. Perhaps their communications people should stop sending out media on second tier signings for 2025 and concentrate on either putting out the team list - or explaining why it is delayed for some reason....

I was there and watched live but fortunately, one of the boys' Dad filmed it and I got a copy. Brumbies have a heap of work to do that's for sure!

Would love to see more representitives from outside the GPS this year. As I have discussed on various other forums Nepotism towards the GPS has been too strong within the reds academy. 13 players from NC in the u15s and a coach is simply ridiculous. Hopefully the 16's we see closer scorelines against Gen Blue and more variety and skill than last year.
11 from NC and they are clearly the best team in the GPS - could have picked more, freakish talent. They wouldnt have lost for 2-3 years

Don't know if anyone else did but I happened to take a look at the u15 state carnival played a couple of weeks ago a Padua College. There was some ripper talent shown at that comp and I was looking forward to the selections.....Though as predicted the coach (Sean Graham) overlooked the country teams. He didn't even show up until the last day of the carnival with a pre picked team.
SG was there every day.....just because you didn't see him, doesn't mean he wasn't there. Agree re the 9 from ROCKY he has actually been called into the squad now, he is at a GPS school FYI. Couple you highlighted in the CAP team are league players already with contracts so made themselves unavailable as did quite a few others.
Met North & East were the dominate teams hence the big representation.
There were some players called in from outside this carnival, as was stated would be the procedure at the start.
The reds selectors were just picking the best team to beat NSW IMO

That Waratahs/Rebels result is good for no one
indeed - RA alignment may see the best 150 kids play in that tournament regardless of where they live, instead of the best 30 from each franchise? Unfortunately would very likely mean less spots from locals in their local franchise outside of nsw/qld though, more so in u16s than u19s?

This U16 and U19 Super rugby would be run as a cost/investment for Rugby.
It makes no sense for that investment to have teams lose by 100.
It is impossible to tell whether the NSW team or players were excellent as they weren't tested.
Complete waste of content for Stan; surely only the families of the boys that played bothered to watch.

Rugby in Australia can't afford to keep messing this up.

It might have been better to have no Rebels team, feed them into the Brumbies squads and then not have a bye.
