Interesting topic anyway, who is our Nonu or JdV equivalent or do we have a different style in that position compared to our competitors?

We've always (at least dating back to Herbet) played our tackle buster at 13.

How many centre pairings have we had over the last decade? That would be an interesting statistic.

Damn you for challenging someone one to do that:

From the beginning of 2005 until our most recently played test there has been 40 centre pairings.

Go on lads, name me the top 7!

Bonus question, name the 15 combos we only saw once.

Larhkam/Mortlock only once. Tahu/Cross once. Giteu/Cooper only once.

Giteau/Mortlock, Giteau/AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)/Barnes, McCabe/AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) a few of the most seen combos.

That's all I've got.

I'm pretty sure Turinui/Rathbone is in the single appearance category.

Amazingly, Turinui/Tuqiri happened more than once!

I think To'omua/Kuridrani has probably happened 7 times now to make that list.

One of McCabe/Fainga'a or Fainga'a/AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) should also make the list I think.

Lilo played a very good game for Australia last time out (Wales in Cardiff) and has been solid but not spectacular this year. It annoys me people say a player is rubbish when they've simply been solid. Big test this weekend and yet another combo at 10/12 for Oz.

Flatley and Mortlock saw plenty of air time. Definitely in the top 7

Yes. I'm living in the past. I'm certain Lilo & AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) started 5+ tests together though. Possibly even 9.
