That was in the context that he apparently gave no undertaking to RA that he wouldn't. If there is a clause in his contract that he agrees to sign knowingly that he won't, whether it be with RA, Twiggy, or whoever, then he'll likely not.

those who are howling loudest about freedom of speech for Israel Folau – Alan Jones et al – are precisely those who howled loudest against the likes of Yassmin Abdel-Magied - who tweeted that on Anzac Day 2017 we should also reflect on Manus Island detainees- and called for her to be banished. Ditto, when SBS presenter Scott McIntyre tweeted his own views about the Anzacs and those who commemorated Anzac Day, there was not a single peep out of them about his rights to freedom of speech. They wanted him sacked from SBS, and he was.

I'm talking about the SBS case - ignore all the Fitzy v Jones stuff.

McIntyre was sacked. Took it court. His employer ended up settling on the eve of the case. Was likely all they could do.

I reckon RA might end up paying a hefty undisclosed chunk of cash to move on.

I would be ok with Folau joining rapid rugby assuming they would be able to get him to agree to social media clauses being inserted in his contract. As would be a pity for him to be lost to the game but that can only happen yes if he agrees to social media clauses being included in any contract as despite his own views of having done nothing wrong no professional club will tolerate that sort of posts that vilifies or promotes discrimination irrespective of it quoting the bible. As most know the bible does have some parts to it given written many centuries ago that promote views that do not fit with modern day society.

Personally feel IF unlikely to agree to social media clauses being inserted so his time as pro footballer may be done.

They have sniffed the breeze and knows this is not going down well with middle Australia.

I think it is a watershed moment in the debate makes it harder to terminate his employment.

Clyne and Castle can consider themselves thrown under the bus by whomever becomes PM. Or maybe Clyne and Castle simply did it to themselves, spending too much time with the big end of town whose issues and concerns are different from middle Australia.

He'll lose all his endorsements, Asics already gone, and he'll either get the shits and seek a mutual release, or he'll re-offend and get sacked without a payout, or he may actually learn from his errors and make himself earn selection again.

Apology accepted, along with the missing Bible quotes which Izzy also provided in the same post. Quotes which emphasise the love and forgiveness Izzy was referring to.

Nick Farr-Jones was right - the issue has divided the rugby community. Once we joyfully boosted our own teams and bagged the opposition with a smile. However we knew we were all rugby supporters and shared a love of the game.

Now we take bitter stances and won't accept any counter arguments. Surely RA could have predicted this and taken a conciliatory approach for the sake of the game.
