Done that
Ron Walden (29)
Won 2nd grade this year.^^ Bugger, I've got to go and fire up the Jarse-O-meter to check the details. Pretty sure Wix won a Colts 1 GF recently.
Must have been 2014.
2013 was the flooded oval where Uni played Manly.

Hasn't Haangana been picked up by the Rebels? Shouldn't be an issue though, considering they still have Tom Piroddi. Seems like Randwick will be struggling with the points cap in both 1sts and 2nds next year!I believe Hame Tali and Paddy Rumble are grade age in 2017
The points system has benefits and the problem is that most Schoolboy players are unaware of a points system and dont really understand how it could effect them and i also believe 2 clubs work on the idea that if they have the best players it weakens the other clubs.I did my best to help them. That being said about the Wix, Beasties were the mob who seemed to sail very close to the wind in 2016.
Maybe the points cap has been scrapped.
Did it really ever achieve anything? Talent has remained concentrated in 4/12 clubs (colts and grade), with one club occasionally dropping in and another dropping out of the "lucky 4" from time to time.
That can't be healthy for the long term interests of the competition, or is it?
In NZL major cities, is the talent evenly spread across all clubs, or do certain clubs seem to continue to attract and retain talented players while other clubs never seem to attract anyone talented enough (player or coaching staff) to get that club out of the wooden spoon position..
Charlie Smith from easts has gone to the UK I think^^^^
Too Old in 2017
Eastern Suburbs: 1. James King, 4. Jack Digby, 5. Toby Starkey, 6. Tom Mahony, 9. Ted Pye (c), 12. Ned Yeomans,

Sydney University: 2. Tom Horton, 3. Harry Johnson-Holmes, 4. Peter Fenwicke, 5. Zac Von Appen, 9. Banjo Travers, 11. Eddy King, 12. Luke Lough, 14. Tim Clements
Randwick: 1. Harry Chapman, 4. Justin Cooper, 5. Nathaniel Gittoes, 6. Lochie Simpson, 8. Hame Tali, 9. Paddy Rumble, 10. Hamish Gordon, 11. James Ramm, 13. Sepesa Tarogi, 14. Ronald Streater Mason
Quite a few of the returning Veterans from 2016 will be fancying their chances of being called up for State (miss a few rounds) or National U20 Duties (unlikely to be seen until mid July apart from a guest appearance - possibly in Grade rather than Colts). This will take them out of action for a part of the season.
^^^ Don't forget that some of this years Wix Colts 2 (think they were Premiers) and Colts 3 players would fancy their chances of making Colts 1 in 2017.
Could not disagree more.Good luck to him. He is far too good to be tucked away in Colts age footy.
