Yep seen it, but I think it hopeful rumour as much as anything, Perofeta is from Whanganui originally which is Canes country, so some are hoeful because of that I think.

May be SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) should get in contact with the marketing team behind the URC. Their viewership is up 10% across the first four rounds compared to last season.
Wasn't SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) viewership up 12% on last season?

It's Wales. They've never had good crowds. Last weekend they got 81k to Croke Park for the Leinster/Munster game and 18k in Belfast (capacity) for Ulster/Connacht.

Hopefully that's just confusion around internal submissions to the comp itself and not a sign the squad naming day is no more, I'd hate it if they dumped it after only one year.
Looking likely to be 12 November according to NZ media. Surprised there hasn't been anything from the Super socials.

At least this is moving towards something a bit more polished.
The issue remains that no one in NZ gives a shit about the Aussie squads and visa versa, particularly the fringe squad members, so there isn't really a connection or reason for people to care outside their own team.
It would be good if there was an event or even pre-recording of all the coaches and they go through some of the development players and why they're in the squad, build some hype about the blokes no one knows about. Even touch on blokes like Junkyard dog who have been given a big upgraded deal from last year and why they're so important going forward yada yada yada.
