WTF is up with the general handling? There's been about three drops of drizzle this morning, so surely it can't be the weather.

Pollard carves off 60m with a penalty that lands within a metre of the corner flag, 5m lineout Bulls & they score against the padding so 7-7 coming up.

Must be a sheen of mud on the ball :) Or maybe they're committing the cardinal sin of thinking about what they're gunna do with the ball before they've actually got the ball............

Another botched last pass but Bloos were under penalty advantage so Piers will set up the drive from 5m out. I'd have taken the three from in front.

Pulu held up but under PA again so another drive coming up........

Bloos knock on, Bulls will probably clear to damn near half way the way Pollard hoofs them.

Shoulda taken the three, bro!

Would've kept attacking the Bulls from this penalty, personally. They look tired already, and will be playing into the wind next half, so might as well wear them out as much as possible before half time.

EDIT: And he missed it.

Good little kick but lazy chase from all bar Nanai. Should've had the Bulls conceding a set piece five metres out instead of allowing them a comfortable clearance kick.

Agree, why take the lineout option three times but not the fourth? The three they missed was from more or less the same place as the first one they turned down. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Bloos cough it up again, Bulls clear from the scrum. HT 7-7. Plenty of ball movement but crap execution, Bloos need to reel it back a tad in the second 40.

Like the second half last week, it's just a plain old failure of leadership IMO.

Strange exit strategy, that......... Bloos scrum 5m out & a nice blind. West comes on.

EDIT: they go open but Francis who's still out there puts in a nice kick-pass back to the blind that Duffie manages not to drop for his second of the night, 19-7.

It's like watching a competition to see who can shoot themselves in the foot with the highest caliber weapon. Bulls called the Blues game-long breakdown incompetency and upped the stakes by throwing a one-off pass to a stationary player behind their own try line.

West over from a nice Tuipulotu offload, they're checking the grounding but surely he's scored? Did his best to fuck it up but, yeah, that's (just, barely) a try. Bloos 24-7 with kick to come & they can't choke two weeks running. Can they?
