Yeah but on 3 sites I cross checked they gave those attendances. Dunno why only with NZ games it was such a odd number. But if you check they were 2000 less and 2000 too much with them so total supporters for both stadiums are about 45k more or less
Fifa dont play on Newlands Boet, its rugby Holy Ground.
Oh yeah Green Point Stadium was redeveloped for the 2010 Football World Cup not Newlands. Sorry my mistake. Wonder why do SA still play football matches on it when they can do it over at Greenpoint?

Bulls attendances are surprisingly low as they have a stadium that can take more people than the Stormers and use to fill it.
Floptus dont get full houses that often. Only happens when the Stormers/WP plays there, Newlands a sell out weeks before the match when they visit here. Obvious the biggest rivals in S15 rugby.
How are the derby matches over there? I know in football it is big very very big where the supporters taunt each other and want to slap each other silly but in rugby that is not usually seen. I saw Plumtree's remarks. What is the derby atmosphere like in SA?
No rugby derbies in SA is close to the football lot. Paarl is packed with Bulls and All Blacks supporters (mostly in the coloured community) so I do get my fair share of it. It still dont get close to our own Paarl derbie when Paarl Gym and Boys High get stuck into each other. Jean de Villiers (Paarl Gym) and Guthro Steenkamp (Paarl BoysHigh) played each other in the same year and both will tell you it was the match closest to a test for them. Paarl get cut in two for a week, mum and dad wont sleep in the same room if they are in diffirent camps for a week, workers at the workplace dont talk to each other for a week BUT we all share that special rugby spirit of "gees" what we call it to man up after a loss and shake the opponent supporters hand when the end whistle goes. We surely dont go on the rampage like the soccer lot do and in Paarl you only have bragging rights for the saturday night. Sunday we all go to church and start speculating who will win it next year. So we understand rivalry and derby matches pretty well. In SA schoolboy rugby/netball/hockey interschools (thats what we call derby matches) goes all around SA between schools from age group U7 to U18. In Paarl its a weeks derby with old boys/girls matches included. It even have a sponsor.
