Reds were fantastic in defence and at the breakdown tonight - I'd love to see the Wallabies have that attitude. What a great win!

Fantastic. That is a huge win. Great not only to see an Aussie team beat such a highly ranked SA team in South Africa, but to hear the South African commentators mention how dominant they were at the tackle and breakdown.

What a game plan by Ewen McKenzie! Beautiful methodical performance by the Reds, lead from the front by Robinson, with Genia implementing the plan so consistently. Fantastic stuff, great game of Rugby.

Composure, huh. "Suddenly" Cooper and Genia look the goods for RWC 2011. Played it really smart, turned the Stormers around again and again and they struggled to get going. Great work from the pack to overwhelm the Stormers at the breakdown.

That was an engrossing game. More or less defined by defence and scrappy from both sides. Reds were luckier and slightly better. I'd actually be inclined to say they were probably favoured a little by the ref, but they took their chances well and were more composed. Deserved the win.

I wanna see Gill start a game. He moves like McCaw. I think he could overtake Pocock in a few years.

He definitely has the natural open-side instinct, Robinson brings the extra physicality, but when Gill's big enough he will be starting.

Not a very open match or exactly pretty to watch but he Reds get the biccies after they strangled the Stormers, despite a misfiring lineout. Good to see Daley stay up at scrum time - the Reds scrum looked in control most of the match.

Bit disappointed in Diggers - he didn't pin his ears back a few times I thought he should've.

I liked how the Reds attacked the breakdown - as he commentators said, the Reds bullied the Stormers.

Well, that's 11 goats for the game - 10 bonus goats for the two wins.

Now is it time to quote the trolls predicting the 40 point Reds loss?

Although he Stormers were off their game, the Reds didn't let them play. Importantly this is the Reds first win over a team who is a real contender. Up til now they'd only beaten teams mainly in the bottom half of the table.
