If I have to hear him crap on about how the Brumbies are the greatest thing ever and everyone should be more like them I will neck myself. The Reds tried what the Brumbies are doing now (loosing all their games) a few years ago so they aren't breaking new ground.

So yes a lot of the insight and ideas are great and a breath of fresh air in the rugby media

Agree on Kafe. I have reversed my opinion about him 100% since all his bleating about the Brumbies being so wonderful started. Comes across as a prize dick at the moment.

My view on beating the stormers is you have to dominate the breakdown consistently on attack and make them commit bodies. Don't give them time to reset. If you do, there's not much space and with those extra space the sweep very well so the chip kick is not the answer in my view nor are running angles either. Get the bodies into contact then you have a chance of space. Break the structure.

Is Greg Holmes injured? or did Link just feel it was the right time to inject The Wolf (Shepherdson) ?

Also what is going on with Van? is he still injured or is AWH now preferred?

try this site mate, cost you 30 quid, but its friggin awesome for expats....recommended

We don't have internet currently, so that's no dice unfortunately. (I'm at work using work 'net). But we'll be in a new place with lightning fast internet in a weeks time, so I'll DEF be using streampro - thanks for the tip mate!

And thanks for the London suggestions all, but I've got obligations with the Mrs. during the day, so can't make the trip. Great idea though - might have to hit that up soon too!

Van has a broken finger and is due back next week I think - simple as that

that's bloody impressive for a match against a foreign team and shows how much respect this reds team gets in south africa. it would be great to see these sort of numbers in australia for a foreign super rugby match.

I believe its sold out - thats about 47-48,000 people - not bad

I'm off to Mum and Dads today so I'm missing the game. I am recording to watch Sunday. No one tell me the score! Just kidding I will check the Internets Sunday morning.

I'd kill to watch this game, but I can't find anywhere in Paris that's showing it. :(

Mate, get down to Cafe Oz on Grands Boulevards. Sat 12pm Saders Bulls then 2pm Tahs Force. They have multi screens which the bar staff will switch over to the Reds game if you are nice to them. Unfortunately I can't make it but PM me if you are in Paris permanently so we can hook up another time.

40k plus is awesome, however we are talking about a country where rugby is in the top few sports and a place where the population is 3.5 million. 30k in Brisbane compares very favourably.

Dont think its a sell out, Newlands average 36-37000 thus far this season compare to 43,000 last year. The weather is summer , slept on the stoep and under the stars last night.

massive game then I think Quad will go into test Rugby mode for this match & wait until the last 20 before he starts having a real crack.

Link definitely knows more than me but I thought after last week he would start with Holmes & Slipper up front.

I wonder how long Link has been thinking about this match? Last year he admitted to thinking about the Bulls match in Brisbane for weeks before it had arrived surely this is the biggest non test match any of these Red players have ever been in.

Just gave them a bell, but no luck there either. (Shame, as I live about a stones throw away). It seems the game simply hasn't been picked up by any of the Sky Sports channels, which is what all of the pubs use. Everyone I've called have checked and double checked, but it can't be done apparently.

I am in Paris permanently though, so I'll shoot you a PM sometime soon mate!

Oh and sorry for hijacking the thread a bit everyone. My prediction?

Reds by plenty.

Haha. Truthfully though, I'm kind of optimistic about this game, I think we may be able to squeak by.

I would not be putting on any serious money on this match not like the guy who put a $1 000 000 on the Highlanders last night!!!!
