I initially though it would be nice to see Gits back for a run, just because the way he left Aus rugby has a bit of an ugly feel about it (not to say he didn't partly bring it on himself).

But it would be criminal to saddle that young dynamic backline with a 10 running sideways......unless Bernie can fix him?

According to the SMH it appears that the Brumbies saviour is actually Peter Hewat rather than Stephen Larkham.

Go figure.

I'd welcome Hewat to the Brumbies, fine player good skills... enjoyable to watch, I just don't know as a playmaker but was a good full back in his day at the Tahs.... Bernie is best working his magic as the backs coach; he's doing a superb job...

Apparently he has converted to fly-half during his last few years in Japan.

i've often thought that silm is really Gits trying to make sure he's still talked about in the Australian Rugby Community.

Do you really think Slim would have been so supportive of Pat McCabe playing 12 for the Wallabies in the 3N and RWC if he was Matt Giteau?

I'm betting Matt Giteau had a Pat McCabe voodoo doll. He got so angry by the end of the RWC he ripped one of the arms off.

Would any logic human have a haircut like that? Gits/Silm is a weird and wonderfully strange human. He also thought he was a 10.

I read that Matt Giteau was sounded to do a short spell with the Brumbies. I believe it is impossible because this week end Toulon is finishing the regular season and the play off are starting on may the 28th. Toulon has a really strong team which can won the Top 14 this year so I doubt that they will release one of their best asset!

So who is going to do the tackling for Peter "Turnstyles" Hewat? Hewat often played fly half for London Irish as well. Good in attack but can't tackle. Mind you McCabe is use to having to tackle on behalf of Cooper.
