Genuine question: would Rieko have shovelled that on to his winger like a proper centre, or gone hungus glory mode like a not-a-real-centre?
I agree he put himself in a dangerous position, but is you want to be finicky it was his thigh the fella run into not knee. I agree though he put himself in dangerous position, and so will maybe make players be careful when going for a charge down. Will we have to say you can only jump to a certain height? Genuine question, and could be something that is looked at.Stupid play either way, really. If you put yourself in a position where you are kneeing an upright bloke in the face at speed you are rolling the 'ol dice.
Goddamnit I think I know the answer to this one and I dont like it.Genuine question: would Rieko have shovelled that on to his winger like a proper centre, or gone hungus glory mode like a not-a-real-centre?
Just a little whoopsy by Caleb..The end on camera angle isn't going to look great for Clarke - it looked like he jumped into the running line of the MP (Moana Pasifika) winger - rather than just straight up.
I'd really like to see Evans start next week with Rieko outside him - he looks a really promising young 12.
He looked ok, but have a feeling Heem will get the gig again. Be interesting to see who get Caleb's spot on wing, I guessing he will get a week or 2.The end on camera angle isn't going to look great for Clarke - it looked like he jumped into the running line of the MP (Moana Pasifika) winger - rather than just straight up.

Anyway hope it's as nice in Wellington as here in the Naki today, getting ready to head down to me and WOB's old stomping ground then down to Canes game this arvo. Have to leave the prodigal behind as he was coming, but is in PN hospital.
Kane Hames is such an excellent commentator. His scrum insights and specifically the failings of Bazza Pickerill to correctly adjudicate the stupid things would have had @Pfitzy bug-eyed and motioning for the lotion.
