I dont understand what is happening there. Rayasi and PUJ must be injured. They are 2 of the most high-ceiling destructive backs in NZ.

Players that could provide their national team with the decisive edge.

Yet they cant even secure a soup bench spot ahead of the ghost of Julian Savea and whatever the fuck Billy Proctor is.

^ injuries starting to bite...

Saw a report on TV3 breakfast news that Clarke got three weeks. Haven't seen anything official but sounds about right IF they ruled he jumped into the other guy's running line.
Yep he got 3 weeks, about what I thought would happen, let that be a leson don't jump too high when attempting charge downs.
You right about injuries biting WOB, seems after a few weeks of these derbies it always seems to get high numbers.

[Edit: Jack Goodhue] has been back training with CruSadists & apparently impressing the hell out of Razor & co. but will play some Club footy before coming back into a 23 (I guess it's a sign of the times that which Club he'll play for is "yet to be decided").

I think you mean Jack Goodhue?

I can understand the mixup with Ennor given how anonymous Ennor is on the field.......

"[Frizell] was this good last year. He just then, unfortunately, missed significant time with the All Blacks and he wasn't able to build on his positive form through Super Rugby"

Gosh Jeff. I wonder why he didn't play much test rugby last season. Could it have been getting thoroughly manhandled by *checks notes* Fiji? Yeah. Might've had something to do with it.

This is a fun game. Have to say MP (Moana Pasifika) are good to watch, they really playing with confidence.

What's happened to all the Highlanders fancy lineout maul moves? Used to be they'd have all sorts of tricky intricate NFL-esque moves but now it's all "idk just try a boring old drive I guess maybe a midfield crash ball if it doesn't go anywhere". zzzzzzzzz

Rugby without sound is so fucking rubbish. Literally impossible to tell what penalty # 77 was for.

These ex-players are such vanilla shills. Never criticise anything.

LOL@Frizzle, "best Landers player this season" then first touch he goes down and limps off. Reminiscent of that other Hard Southern Man, Liam Squire who'd try to put the big hit on then come off 2nd best and be out injured for 3 months.

This could be the first match I7ve watched where I've thought "ok, the rolling maul has to go". It was a prorecssion of tedium. Ended up fast forwarding thru most of the match. Like watching the NFL extra kick, everyone knows exactly whats coming and theyre largely powerless to stop it.
