Not the best start for Easts 1s Colts - losing to Souths. Very Scots weighted team - different way of playing.

Easts 2s and 3s beat Souths easily.

Easts very TSC (Scots) heavy. They play very individually for the you tube reels - falls down when you move to Colts.

Souths will be very happy with that win.

Eastwood Colts 3 yesterday fielded 19 players in total, 10 of whom are listed with Born 2008 against their profile.

I find that weird, and somewhat alarming. I always viewed Colts as a post-school competition.

They came within 2 points of a Randwick Colts 3 side a fair bit older than them, which I find even more weird given the results above

Most come through the junior clubs.
Wildfires are pushing for more Central Coast players as well, another option instead of having to move/commute to Sydney.

They had 2 colts last year , it's a mix from every zone in nsw and brumbies country with the uni being a huge draw card , this year it's about 40% Hunter kids which is getting much better alot of central west and north coast as well , the biggest issue is the best Hunter kids are going to gps schools and then staying in Sydney , I think there are 5 Hunter juniors at Sydney uni , 3 at manly , a couple at randwick
