Some pretty handy players in that Souths team. Good win.

I really like the looks of Volavola and Soifaloi (I know I've spelled that one wrong). The Souths team are really joyful to watch in full flight. Good game overall and I was very pleased with Timani MkII's workload and presence that's a positive for the Tahs. The Tahs should be watching some of these young guys in this team. They would be good additions as long as they are given the opportunity to just play the game.

Souths win 34-28

Eastwood play Norths & Manly play Parramatta next week

Uni & Souths week off

They should both be really good games next week. I think Manly may get up over Parra though it would be immense if the 2Blues could manage the win and I can see Norths running over top of an Eastwood that has had several injuries thrust upon it.

Volavola looks pretty handy, he moves so easily, Pakalani also. Timani II is another big strong unit. If he can keep his work-rate improving, he'll be a real asset for the Tahs next year.

Unfortunately I think Manly will put 50+ on Parramatta. There's a real gulf of class between Eastwood, Manly, Uni, Souths & Norths and the rest.

Norths nearly beat Eastwood last week and just put 75 on Warringah, they'll be really confident.

I see him as the heir apparent to Palu. What I find really encouraging is that his hands have improved out of sight from the last time I saw him play Club footy. I'd really like to see the Tahs (well anyone actually) sign Volavola and give him a shot. There has been a few young guys putting their hands up this season which is good to see.

Hope not. While I do think Manly will win, I hope it will be a good tight contest. Eastwood will really need to watch out for Norths who will as you point out, have their tails well and truly up.

Reports coming through that Gordon 4th grade forfeited their semi final against Norths at the ground today.
Players away for a buck's party and couldn't get back on time?
No problem though, it wasn't an elimination final so they just play next week as if they lost.
The result shows as 28-0.
Do they deserve to play next week if this is the case?

No. That's a pretty weak excuse for mine.
