This should have been his fourth year in colts 1's,and he can only make thirds in grade?
There is plenty of depth in the joint!
As you know, first grade were minor premiers and second grade woods were a very strong team (finishing second in the regular season) - so yeh, plenty of depth. But he should push for higher honors this year.

The Uni machine hit top gear in 2012 and apparently it was the best season ever in the terms of the number of premierships. Well done to all the coaching staff and the army of helpers across all teams.

No criticism intended, but I am surprised TC played enough games to win best back.
He must have played a few games mid season when he was out of favour with the Tahs?

It is a nice wrap up for the season and this thread to publish the winners of the various Club awards.

Thanks to those who have posted so far, and thanks in advance to those who will publish after their awards nights.

Tom Carter best back for Uni? Interesting, would've thought someone like Hodge, Roberts or Schwager would've won it.

Ryan, what's the story with Iese Leota?
In my opinion he's been one of the best backs in the Shute Shield for several years: solid defender, can be brilliant in attack.
Any interest from the S15 teams?

Ole two blue might be better placed to answer that but he's done some stuff with the Tahs per season but no contract. The Rebels like him but no contract. Maybe he needs another good year to really get noticed.
